Basically this. Sounds like you're healing bro, happy for that.

Always makes me laugh

I even regret that i switched my work from a fixed max studio to a portable macbook that i drag around the house all the time

i remember when you used to wear a lobster costume and how now fully moved to the other end of the spectrum. love to see it.

bro needs to pick willpower next time he levels up

you don’t have to shill 24/7

bro took one holiday and came back preaching

I have said this before and never connected remote control for my code

just banter, I know and I agree. the worst is living with body and mind disconnected

nah remote control is goated you either doom scroll or code from your phone

100% truth

ngmi. (I agree with you tho)

someone had to say it this obsession needs to stop

Looking bloated

bro makes a very good point. naturally i'm not going to listen to him and will continue to drive myself insane

makes no sense to be locked in an office when I can do the same work from my phone outside

It does. Work life separation.

If push back with, “it depends on how much money my agents will make with my decision on the 7th hole by the time I finish the round”. 🤔

I enjoy doing the opposite. Setup your phone so that the only thing you can do is vibe coding. No notifications, no social media, no scrolling. Eink helps with attention and sleep hygiene.

Endgame, avoid this. Use your best judgement. I'm always an advocate for using dumber phones but ones that can hold crucial apps so you're not bricked in modern society.

man could not agree with this more!!

Thank you already🙌

I have an e ink phone and I talk to it under the sun to complete my tasks. This is much healthier than sitting inside all day.

I get what you're saying, but when I'm in the doctor's office and would otherwise be staring at a wall or scrolling through mindrot headlines, I'll be doing something productive instead.

depends on the person, for me it fits in very nicely with how i live and opens me up MORE to be present as im never always wanting to code things from my phone, only to fix basic things and then live with peace of mind

Highly doubt

i learned this at the prime of openclaw 😂 i just stopped doing it altogether, i don't want any of this toxicity in my life, even if it means i'm ngmi

I can mow my lawn and do other stuff while the clanker is doing its thing and the second he’s finished i can prompt him to do the next task. So basically killing 2 birds with 1 stone with little to no producivity loss as compared to doing those things separately (cositng 2x time)

I not agree. I've spent 13 years on a desk. I can code while walking in a forest or spending time in nature. It's the same 8h/day working but instead of standing on a desk, I can spend it outside moving. I am agree to not merge your personal life with your working life. You have multiple possibilities. One of it is to have a separate phone you are working with so once you go home your super smart phone is on your desk waiting you to come back tomorrow.

Practice self-restraint, and all is well.

The most healthiest advice I can personally support. I would even go further. No phone at all in RL. Make face-to-face connections. Do not use the phone or any screens 2 hours before bedtime. Even don't use any electric devices in your bedroom except maybe an alarm clock.

I like sitting in a field and working. I like working from cafes. I like working from home. Why except the same environment every day when I can take the laptop or phone anywhere? Remote code! It’s brilliant.

Buy a Kosher phone

so just don't work when you are not at work ;P

yes i caught myself taking out my phone on the playground to push some cursor threads not worth it play with your kid and be present instead

It depends on the seasons, as for me. When you maximize your real life presence and family, it is one story. When you are all-in on the best work of your life, it is another story.

I built a fully functional web app by prompting form my phone

True. But it is good sometimes. Once I had fixed our production server Configs from my phone. It was kind urgent. So I did it. I was so happy I could do that. Hahaha

bro I fk with you

Disagree on this one, I can't wait for milder temperatures to try being outside significantly more

I be telling claude to refactor the entire codebase from my comfy cozy bed at 2 am
