All my holidays were spent there at the Tintero a long time ago 😿 Great moments ! It’s situated at El Palo, the eastern part of Malaga. Some clever guys always tried to bury the plates under the sand hoping not to pay for everything they ordered 🤦‍♂️

There’s a place in Barcelona with a similar concept. I think it might be called El Nacional. This was about 7 years ago though so no idea if it’s still there. Great concept though and a lot more fun than a regular meal out.

My go to when guests visit us, even leaving a tip is an experience you’ll not forget!

The tables were directly on the beach sand. You get the dishes, eat and at the end of the meal, the waiter count the dishes and you pay. In tbe past, the malagueños buried the dishes in the sand so they pay less. Now, the rsstaurant's floor is made of concrete.

El Tintero - best place in town. Good luck finding parking, though. Good excuse to use public transportation. 👀 @TimurNegru
