Good tip to locate the fault. However, the tape will eventually burn/fall off. Loop an electrical wire over the two points, solder, or pin it in. It will work longer. Good tip though, save the bulbs

The job of repairing is more expensive than the price to buy a new one

A new LED bulb cost 3 bucks... looks like a lot of work to save 3 bucks.

Not really worth it. If one LED burns out, the rest are probably on the same path, since they have pretty much the same lifespan.
