Young believer tearfully asks John MacArthur “How do I know if I’m saved? If I am not chosen, would I even care about being saved?”

I did not hear him ask her one time if she believed that Jesus died and rose again. That is the only way to know we are saved, believe and confess It’s not about what feel or what we do.

that's the third time I have seen him answer a question on assurance by primarily pointing people to themselves and what they do rather than looking to Christ who grants it by His Holy Spirit. Rom 8:16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God

So totally dodges the question then veers off into standard talking points of calvinism that are not biblical. I'm amazed he was able to talk that long without covering up another sexual abuser.

Idiocy at its worst! John rightfully condemns the fake tongue movement…and then turns around and “pushes” the fake Calvinism doctrine!

And the false teacher that @johnmacarthur can't even point that woman to the Bible & tell her that she can know she's saved by what God has promised in John3:16. Instead he points her to her feelings & works for validation, which invariably will fail for all believers.
