you can’t imagine how devastating this injection has been 💔Someone very close to me became addicted to this deadly substance. It has taken so much from them,their health, their peace, and their well-being. This stuff is dangerous, and I fear for anyone who comes near it.🤦

First time I saw this I froze, most people who get addicted to penta were once patients recovering from pain. This touched me, because I have seen a sibling go into addiction and come out alive, many didn’t, you can be saved, don’t hide it. Call for help.

Omo 2 years ago, I abused this penta because of my ulcer, later it doesn't even work for more than 30-40mins again.. Thank God for God and my family Dr then, it was later he told me he started injecting me with just water anytime I asked for it, till I snapped out of taking it.

Most of them even buy the pentazocine with promethazine, drug addiction is really on a different wave now

Another challenge with those suffering from addiction is the access to places they can go for rehabilitation, I have mentioned this before, how do these people access these places?… are there centres in every state in Nigeria?

A sickle cell friend of mine used to beg me for money and I'll give him. Didn't know he was using it to feed his penta addiction. I stopped when I discovered though. It's hard to imagine anyone injects penta just for fun. I've been on it a couple of times, glad I'm not addicted.

Unfortunately, years ago, I ran into a young lady at H-Medix and she approached me with a prescription for a pain killing injection. I’m now very sure it was Pentazocine, I googled it and saw what it was for. I approached the pharmacist and asked whether it was safe and got…

I was given this injection a couple of times while I was recently admitted and I understood what feeling high felt like. Wanted to tell the nurse to keep giving me when I felt pain but I didn’t want to get addicted to that high, forced myself to manage paracetamol injection.

If you’re a HCW with unfiltered access to penta and you’re able to restrain yourself, just be thanking your God. I always have vials of it in my house and my husband administered it one night because I was in severe pains and we had nothing else. The following weeks were a real struggle not to turn into a druggie.

I know one lady because of this injection, her leg started swelling and later turned to elephantiasis. She's late now.

Man this people keep finding new ways to kill themselves 😔. Yes things are bad in the country but escapism is not the answer. And this music keeps telling them to try it. Then they get hooked and everyone in the family suffers for it. 😢
