A 19-year-old, 1st-year College Student had been drugged and gang-raped in a party recently. Her drink had been spiked before she was raped and the act was filmed with the intention of extorting in the future. The accused is a Local TMC Councillor's son. As usual Mamata Police seem to be trying their best to get him off the hook. Today I marched alongside BJP West Bengal Karyakartas in Behala; Kolkata, to register our vehement protest against the Mamata Police who appear to be complicit in botching up the investigation to favour the TMC Councillor's son.

When the CJP protest began, it was being claimed that the protest was against the paper leak. Abhijeet Dipke said that this protest would raise students' issues and that it was a Gen Z protest. But now, Muslims are offering namaz at the Cockroach Janta Party protest. Why do they always put their religious identity first everywhere? Namaz can be offered somewhere away from the protest site. If a Hindu started performing puja or chanting mantras at the protest site, everyone would immediately start opposing it. This entire protest is fake. Instead of raising the real issues of students, everything else is happening there.

Yesterday, Kunal Kamra mocked Lord Shri Ram at the CJP protest. And today, the qawwali "Bas Naam Rahega Allah Ka" was sung nonstop for an hour. But if anyone points this out, the CJP crowd will say we're trying to divert the issue. There hasn't been a single day of discussion about NEET or the students at the CJP protest. Public Protest Against Inactive Administration!.. Residents of Baner, Balewadi, Sus, Mhalunge, and Pashan came together today at Radha Chowk in Baner to protest against the administration. The protest, held amidst heavy rain, aimed to address local traffic issues, fill potholes on the roads, and initiate work on alternative routes. The event saw the participation of many women and citizens from the area. This evening I attended a Protest Rally next to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation at Esplanade; Kolkata, demanding the arrest of Mayor Firhad Hakim and those offending Officials & Engineers who are liable for the string of ‘tilted’ multi-storey buildings that have mushroomed in congested neighbourhoods across the city which are posing serious threat to life and property of the residents of Kolkata. Also, I demanded that fair compensation must be paid to the Flat-owners who are losing their homes due to the hush hush demolition order issued by the KMC without engaging with the stakeholders to cover up the widespread prevailing corruption of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, which has led to the situation that, every other day news of buildings tilting precariously against one another is surfacing.
