Your abs recover faster, so you should train them every day. That's the logic. It sounds reasonable until you actually check whether the premise is true. The "train abs daily" belief rests on two assumptions: that core muscles are predominantly slow-twitch, and that slow-twitch fibers recover faster and therefore need higher frequency. There's something right about the second part. But the first part is where the reasoning starts to fall apart. So here's the question to ask: if you don't actually train your quads every day, why would you assume your abs need it? Autopsy data going back to the early 1990s shows that most core muscles are roughly 50/50 fast- and slow-twitch — almost identical to something like your vastus lateralis (your quads). The muscle you'd never dream of hammering seven days a week. And when you look at the actual literature, there's no evidence that the training principles for your abs should differ from those for your quads.

Every remarkable man has a deep understanding of reality. No one cares about your excuses. So why do you keep giving them your attention? NOBODY CARES. EVERYONE HAS A REASON THEY AREN'T THE BEST. WIN ANYWAY.

Ashton Hall reveals he never trains abs despite having an insane six pack “I don’t do core. I didn’t do core for like 10 years. We all have a six pack, you just might not see it because of your diet. That’s why I do no carbs, the diet is for the core” “If you want a smaller waist, you don’t train core at all, you just make sure you’re in a caloric deficit so you can lose the fat over it”

You don’t need 17 ab exercises. You don’t need 500 crunches. You don’t need to “confuse the core.” Cable crunches + leg raises are enough to build thick, defined abs. Then comes the boring part: Get lean enough to see them. Add weight. Add reps. Progress. Abs are muscles. Stop training them like a punishment.

Gauntlet is the most dishonest arcade game ever made 🧙‍♂️ Your health literally drains every second even if you aren't being hit. It’s not "challenging gameplay", it's a tax on your existence. Atari didn't build a dungeon crawler; they built a coin-operated vacuum for your pockets

You feel sad inside because you know, deep down, that you aren't trying your best. Right now, you can DECIDE to try your very best every day to become someone exceptional. It is your choice. Don't expect sympathy from people if you decide to choose not to.

Save this 13-drill core sequence inspired by Russian gymnastics This isn’t just abs it builds real strength, control, and coordination by connecting core, spine, and hips. Improve mobility, compression, and full-body stability. Train your core as a system, not in isolation.

Front planks where you only feel it in your shoulders and lower back aren't working your abs — they're just working the wrong muscles. Contact the full wrist base and thumb into the ground. Then take the longest inhale you can. Even pressure. Organs move back. Abs activate. Two adjustments and the plank becomes a completely different exercise
