Your cat doesn't understand your words - it feels your energy.

I’ve lived with four dogs and four cats in various combinations over the years, and this is the reason why “who used to be firmly a dog person, has completely switched to being a cat person.” I currently have one dog and one cat, I plan to live with cats only after this dog.

Cats do understand when you talk to them. They recognize your voice and tone, and can learn specific words associated with rewards (like "treat" or "food"). Mine understand when I say, "Come on babies, let's go to bed," then they follow me into the bedroom and jump into bed.

I can ask my cats to go out side for a while and they'll just look at me then walk out the door. My tone is the same as I'd speak to anyone. What is it their hearing.

Disagree. We have to spell out "squirrel" and "treat" when we are talking because our cat gets excited when he hears the words.

Some cats, like mine, can learn over 350 words. My cat understands commands and responds appropriately.

Also when you lose your cat or he run away from home, try to talk with your neighborhood cats, speak softly to them about how you miss your cat and you want him back home to you and tell them please to find him and bring him back, it works!

We were missing my cat’s sibling, thinking it got run over on the road. Worried about his safety, I visualized and projected to him the danger of the road and cars. In his 15 year history, he never went up on the road and was always afraid of cars. Coincidence?

cats are also telepathic and spiritual beings; hence they DO Understand words.. they are NOT animals. they are spiritual Beings of LIGHT. humans need to upgrade their wisdom of other beings that dont look like them... (human species narcissism).

A cat purrs at the same frequency as when we pray to GOD, & when meditating, there known for thousands of years as messengers of divine energy preparing your heart to understand the unrequited love GOD has for HIS creation. Faith heals the body, & in turn they live a longer life.
