The specific formula for a brand's gum base is typically a trade secret. FDA regulations on gum base is basically no regulation at all: A "food additive" category: The FDA classifies "chewing gum base" as a food additive that may contain any number of individual substances. Undisclosed formula: A manufacturer can use any ingredient they coin as GRAS, Generally Recognized As Safe. It is 100% legal to have hidden materials in their proprietary gum base formula without listing them individually on the chewing gum's ingredient label, as long as they are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) or approved food additives. Consumer advocacy: This practice has drawn criticism from consumer advocates who argue that the GRAS designation is overly vague & allows companies to hide potentially harmful chemical additives from the public. A girlfriend (former dental hygienist) said this should go viral b/c so many times she’s been on first dates and never saw the guy again because of periodontal disease/bad breath. Bad breath is a huge deterrent for most people and in many cases easily solved. I know I’ll be torn to bits over this but GEEZUS!!! Take a freaking hint. Granted, you should never take anything from someone you don’t trust but friends, I won’t leave you on that hill alone, I’ll be chewing the gum too. In fact many a time I try to play it off as I’m getting one for me, you want one too and EVERY freaking time I get hit with “Does my breath stink?” along with another pungent puff of your tonsel stone breath. Have you priced altoids or Ice Breakers lately?!? Gum isn’t cheap, and I’m not giving it away for no good reason. Don’t make it awkward for both of us, yeah your breath reeks. Take the mint and a trip to the dentist. That’s all I have to say about that. Wait, I have more, trim your finger nails! Claws only look good on Wolverine. Also, pedicures aren’t just for women. Did you know in some states when a neighbor cuts down a tree, if it falls into your yard and damages your property, it’s deemed an “act of god” and you are responsible for the damages to your property. For me this could be a huge headache for many people, it shows no accountability. If the neighbor’s tree damages someone else property, you would think that it’s their responsibility since it’s their tree and it’s their actions that caused the damage. Why on earth would any state have this law is beyond me, I wouldn’t want to live in an area like that, where one day you are on top and the next day you could be thousands in debt. What would you do if this was the case for you?

This is crazy. Here are 2 fields, - One is natural grass - The other is artificial turf If you take a temperature gun and measure the temperature the grass field is 104 degrees. The artificial grass is 178 degrees “Which field do you want your kids playing on? Not to mention the smell, the reek of burning plastic. It is so disgusting” We have to stop with everything being synthetic and go back to natural I found that artificial turf can routinely get extremely hot on sunny days, often reaching 180°F The “reek of burning plastic” comes from the plastic blades polyethylene, polypropylene and rubber heating up and off-gassing For reference touching something that’s 180 degrees can cause a severe second degree burn

I sat and watched a carload of people taking photos of this alligator with their cell phones dangling out the window of their car. The gator wanted to cross the road, but every single time it started to crawl out of the water, the carload of people would pull forward and block its exit. After seeing them do this twice, I decided to intervene, which is something I rarely do, but in this case, it really bothered me. As I approached the car, I heard someone in the backseat say, “I think it’s hungry. Let’s feed it some bubble gum and then take its picture.” I paused and thought, “Did I just hear them say let’s feed it some bubble gum?” Baffled, I continued walking toward the passenger side of the vehicle. The gator was on the driver’s side. 😉 When I got to the window, I politely said, “You do realize the alligator is trying to cross the road, and you are blocking its path?” The reply, “Huh? Really? Are you sure?” I nodded yes and said, “If you just pull your car forward, the alligator can happily cross the road, and then you can get a cool shot of it standing. Something you rarely ever see.” The driver rolled up the passenger window and pulled the car forward. They stayed in the car, and I went back to mine and watched as the beast crossed the road. People… 🙄
