He didn’t fail her at all. He provided the best possible life for her and she is better off for it. No human on earth is tied to a place or mandated to remain true to his/her ‘roots’. Your statement makes me believe that it was actually your Dad who failed you as a human, but I will be respectful and not affirm such.

What if her father is someone who was sentenced to death for stealing chicken and then manage to escape to Japan? You want him to tell her Nigeria is a paradise she can return to? A country that sentences her citizens to death over chicken, while politicians are strolling about with accusations of stealing N80billion.
