Visited AirIndia office at nariman point , was briefed about the entire process by Mr Alex exquisitely and got all the paper work cleared required for using stretcher service - AMBU LIFT in 48 hrs by mailing it to below email id : npt.counterofficerAir India.com Since Jaipur the nearest airport shockingly didnt hav ambulift facility we had to plan it all from delhi. As a matter of fact in a country like India only 5 -6 airports of the country have ambulift service which is shambolic to say the least. Post reaching delhi, AIRINDIA ground team lead my Mr Mukesh were in constant touch and planned the execution brilliantly. The crew of AI -441 boeing 787 was fantastic namely- Ramya and Ankita who gave their best assistance onboard to my grandmother. Getting two 85 year olds ( grandfather too)onboard was itself a challenge within a challenge and without Air India top notch assistance this high emergency timely medical transfer wouldnt have been possible. Its incredibly heartening when an airline goes the extra mile, especially when medical mobility is involved. Team Air India your service was like a steady hand on a shaky ladder.
