Your life changes when you understand this scene

Not a fan of the music but this was one of my favorite scenes in the franchise. Imho you can take it from a science perspective or philosophical perspective. Time isn't linear versus determinism. Or you could go existential. Maybe we made the choice before we were born.

It says in the bible that we have free will, it would be more accurate to say we have an illusion of free will.

Tbh, you get a lot of questions once you watch this scene. It makes you inquire more rather than clarify.

I wish I understood why I made so many bad choices. But were they bad choices if they’ve led me right where I’m supposed to be?

Life…Searching

One of the religious philosophy that struck me was the answer to the question "Why did God create me?" In Islamic philosophy: Before creation, God asked "Who wants to be human" and we chose to be human. Couldn't find that anywhere else. This scene just reminded me of that.

The correct answer is always: Do you have a sugar-free one?

You chose to be here. Why? 🤷 It has taken me 46 years to ask that question and have an answer. Everyone has their own answer to that particular question.

Maybe whether i will understand it or not of why i made the decision is also predetermined.

That's why I don't hold a grudge anymore.

Look at the movie blue rain. I think he should survived in the end stole sone untraceable bearer bonds and moved to a new place new name joined a investment group and in the end the bible verse pslam 1.1 to 2 shows up!

People have hard times to have faith in God. Very doubtful they are. Through the harsh agonies like the crucifixion of Roman people on Jesus Christ, people let the concept of self or ego leave them. As a Christian, the premise to make a choice is wrong. We are not the subjects who can make a choice. God living in us drives us to the best time and place according to the perfect plan.

They do say that our brain simply seeks to justify the decision made without our realising, rather than is making a decision consciously

knowing a choice beforehand isn’t the same as making it for you, it only shows the choice was already formed within you forgetting it’s formation doesn’t undo the authorship when you act.

Yes, I came here because I have already made the choice, I’m here to understand why and how to complete my meanings
