We do much better when engineers are not shackled by politicians! I crafted a response to another post, from a climate activist, that is generally applicable here. 👇 So, I usually respond to political positions based on my experience, what's in the discussion, and if I have a personal opinion that I wish to share. In the case of the #ClimateCrisis #ClimateEmergency message from the Democrat Party I have a very strong opinion based on experience and personal analysis. To start with, the propaganda of #ClimateCrisis is being supported by the Democrat messaging crowd with the stinging rebut of "Climate Denier". A "Mob Rule" subjective position that fails to hold up to scrutiny. Even if a "Climate Crisis" could be objectively supported, which I don't believe it can be, the policies being implemented in it's name are false. To begin with, the Democrat message is that a #ClimateEmergency exist and it is the number one (1) existential threat to humanity which justifies Government spending, Government control of production, and Government control of the population. All un-american traits (that's the communist reference) which violate the #Constitutional rights of every individual #American citizen. The reality is that in 1953 the Republicans embarked on the "Green Solution" that will not only solve "Today's" existential threat to humanity being messaged by Democrats, but would have prevented it completely. So, what happened in 1953? ⭐️#AtomsForPeace Dwight D. Eisenhower 1953.⭐️ With President Dwight D. Eisenhower's 1953 #AtomsForPeace initiative 100's of millions would have been: spared early and horrific deaths, lifted out of poverty, educated, and enriched with a happy life. Republicans not only imagined the possibilities, they took action to bring them to life! Democrats and #RINO's recognized that their power and grift would be jeopardized, and took action to protect their personal wealth and political influence. It was bad policy that supported the political drive to halt #Nuclear fission energy in the 1970's and 1980's. The first massive policy error was associated with President Nixon (R) receiving bad advice from the "Experts" which was enumerated in the disastrous Nuclear Regulatory scheme forming the Government's #Nuclear monopoly structure. The second massive policy error was made by President Carter (D) when he determined that #America would not "Reprocess" spent fuel rods. Keep in mind that the current fueling process utilizes < 10% of the available fuel in the fuel rod configuration. The third massive policy error was made by President Clinton (D) when he determined that #America would stop supporting the #Nuclear fission industry resulting in stagnation on development and deployment of all future #Nuclear fission energy projects. The IRON CHOCK HOLD of the Government Monopoly in action! This 1994 decision by President Clinton was highly supported and vocalized by VP Gore (D), & Senator Kerry (D). If those name sound familiar, that's because they have been the front men responsible for the theft of Trillions of #Taxpayers dollars in the name of "Global Warming", "Global Cooling",and "Climate Change" throughout the decades. Or prepare to adapt to further climate change while we continue to reduce CO2 emissions at a reasonable though not crippling rate. How fast will China reduce their emissions? Third World countries need energy to climb out of poverty. #GoNuclear
