Women (the first one) who gives advice like this, are normally speaking from a position of hurt, betrayal and or disloyalty from past relationships. Not giving 100% into a relationship is setting it up for failure. If that relationship is wavering and you can't communicate to figure out the issue(s) over time, then leave.
