This is “veneration of the cross” done by Catholics only on Good Friday it’s not “idolatry” and is a sign of love, reverence and gratitude to our Lord Jesus who died on the cross. It is done in every Catholic Church on the same day which is the celebration of our lord’s passion

I see alot of ignorance from Africans at large 1. That's not idol worship.. An idol is anything that replaces God which that doesn't so it's not an idol 2. Ex. 25 God ordered Moses to make golden cherubim(statues of angels) , is that him ordering him to make an idol?
