Not defending her nonsense, but I will say the hardest I ever fell was by accident with a plain Jane woman I typically wouldn't go talk to. You 100% ABSOLUTELY WILL eventually place more value on the inside of someone than the outside over time. That foreknowledge is priceless.

None of this stuff can be real. My wife is hot. I’m good looking and quite bright. Our kids are therefore genetically in great hands. We went to college 20 years ago and our setup is standard as it was for generations. I cannot believe this is now real. That in 20 years, all of eternity worth of dating and mate partnering science just went into a blender.

Point 1 - this does not seem genuine. Point 2 - if the marriage isn't going well for irreconcilable reasons, then separate. I feel for any poor guy who probably loves his wife, but who is being emotionally betrayed like this. But, this one is probably not true.
