True, most traders won't understand this until they got hurt from the market, and the big mistake at the beginning is that we want to trade every session, every time frame, many instruments... wich is the easy way to lose money in this market..

I used to do all these things and you think that it will benefit you with more opportunity it actually is quite the opposite you have too many decisions you become fatigued by looking at far to many assets and markets. Unfortunately had to learn things the hard way but home some people can maybe not go through the same struggles i did
