SCOTUS ruled the case should go back to the lower court with proper deference given to the Executive branch on these matters. They also agreed the Trump admin should facilitate Garcia's return but failed to understand that the end result would be the same. The guy will never live in the US again. And the judge who gave him a withholding order should've never done so as Garcia's own actions back in El Salvador are the reason he was afraid to go back (not a valid argument). Garcia was deemed a part of MS13, which is now designated as a FTO. This is no small thing. If he were to come back, he'd be properly treated as a terrorist by our govt and removed back to El Salvador yet again. This debate is over

If you want to nitpick this case as much as possible the Trump administration committed one error. Garcia should have been interviewed by an official to assess any threats he may face from a rival gang. Since there are NO gangs operating in El Salvador the answer was bye bye
