Yeah man the disconnect between what was happening on screen and the "you're not a killer, Jean" sympathy they wanted us to have was too much. I actually liked the movie, but maybe it was a mistake to make Jean an antagonist if they couldn't figure out how to create stakes without making her a monster.

Even if her body count was actually zero, which is impossible, if Spiderman didn't save all of those people, her death count would have been in the thousands it not millions.
