So he was so experienced he knew he had a job that he could do in under an hour and he charged him for 4 hours yeah I'd say he was sort of ripping him off if he was so experienced he should have known 1 hour to do the job will charge him for 2 hours we're still coming out ahead.

"You aren't paying for his time. You're paying for his experience." That's a conversation I had regularly when I owned a computer store that did repair work. My lead computer tech had 30 yrs in the business. Sold the business 10 yrs ago but he's still #3 on my speed dial.

Until you see someone without experience do it. You get to watch them fumble around for 4 hours, and pray it works at the end.
