Leo ♌️🎂 Many of you have been waiting to feel confident before you take the first step in something, but really, your confidence will come after you take action. Confidence isn’t built by thinking about it. It’s built by experience, repetition, and proving to yourself that you’re capable. The opportunities to shine will be showing up, but don’t let the small voice of imposter syndrome win.

Cade: "It’s a great feeling, man. It feels good to represent the city like we did tonight. It’s something the city’s been waiting on for a long time, so we feel good about it and we’re ready to get back to the crib and perform in front of them.

No one comes out of a broken marriage and feels happy, no matter how it ended. Divorce is the death of something real, something you built, something you believed in. It hurts. It leaves a gap. It changes you. But life does not end there. At some point, you have to stand up again. Not because you feel ready, but because you are still here. Still breathing. Still capable of building something new. You may not be the same person you were before, and that’s fine. You’ve seen more, you’ve learned more, you’re wiser now. Take what it taught you. Leave what broke you. And move forward. 🤷‍♂️

Rob Dillingham on what it felt like to not play his rookie year “It’s hard to explain honestly, like for ya’ll if you had something you love to do, and you do it every single day and now you just can’t do it. You’re still working at it but you don’t get to perform. You’re going to feel something inside, it’s not towards people, it’s just life… experience teaches you, so I don’t really worry about… we’re here now and I’m going to make the best of it for sure”

Life is short. Enjoy it and make the best of it! Naval “It’s even briefer than that. Each moment just disappears. It’s gone. There’s only a present moment, and it’s gone instantly. So if you’re not there for it, if you’re stressed out, or you’re anxious, or you’re thinking about something else, you missed it. So the true wasted time is a time that you are not present for, when you are not there for it, when you are not doing the thing you want to do to the best of your capabilities such that you’re immersed in it. If you’re not immersed in this moment, then you’re wasting your time.” Chris Williamson

This is how I like lessons to go, hitting lessons are supposed to be a conversation, I’m trying to make sure the player truly understand why we’re doing things and I want to know what’s going on in their heads and what they’re thinking and feeling!!! Hitting is a feel you’re not looking at yourself when hitting so sometimes what you feel you’re doing, you’re really not!!! Stop taking reps with no purpose talk about it

#AustrianGP 🇦🇹 | Lewis Hamilton post race: “We’re gonna have to push really really hard to see when we can get the next power upgrade but… When you’re around these guys… It’s deployment. It doesn’t necessarily feel so much as [lack of] power cause when you come out of the corner it feels like you’ve got the grunt but it’s the deployment at the end, we [drop] our tails off. Particularly Mercedes they just keep going.” “We gotta look at why, how, we can improve that, that but that’s not gonna come for a while.”

Joe Mazzulla: “Too many times it’s all about winning... You have to surrender to the idea that when you’re going after that, you’re going to fail. We failed by not winning, but we stick to the process of being able to do that. That’s just the duality of how things work. It’s not an either-or thing. It’s both and, you feel both of those things.” (h/t SM Highlights)

This scene has that messy, unpredictable Shameless energy where you can tell something is about to go wrong. I like how casual the conversation feels at first, because it makes the sudden tension hit harder. The characters barely need to say much before you can feel that something has shifted. It’s one of those moments where I’m watching and thinking, yeah… this is definitely not going to end quietly.

Rich Paul on LeBrons future and the criticism he got for never doing the dunk contest, and his ‘decision’ to go to Miami 👀 Future: Could he play 1 more year? Yeah he could play 3 more if that’s what he decides to do. It’s a mental thing at this point… Dunk Contest: If he doesn’t do the dunk contest, that’s an issue. Or ‘he ruined the dunk contest.’ Not really. The couple times he wanted to do it he had an ankle sprain like two games before and at that point it’s like ‘nah I’m not gonna do It’. I think because people did it prior to you, they feel you should have to do something The Decision: Deciding to talk about your plans and where you’re going at the forefront of everything When he decided to go to Miami, that became a thing. It was the worst thing in the world until it became the most popular thing in the world for everybody to do from 3rd grade all the way up to every college signing now has a decision. Sometimes things are judged because it’s ahead of its time (Via Game Over)
