I have been subjected to this kind of racism... by Chinese people... in Japan and I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. They were like, "Hey you're white. That means you can speak English. Please answer our question about the train." I think the victim narrative around this is stupid as it basically always is funny. One of the racism collectables I want to get in Japan is to not be allowed in a restaurant because I am not Japanese. I might have to go out of my way to get that one though.

And I'm sorry to say that we have Atithi Devo Bhava in this country where we welcome all, but your comments smack of anti-Indianism, worse still Islamophobia and even worse racism, which has no place, ma'am, in today's world. So get real, ma'am!” “Sorry to say that, but those comments are unacceptable to me as an Indian and as a world citizen!” While Loomer eventually apologized, perhaps reading the room for once in her life, there’s no way she meant it. Hey Hutch, saw you give your take and overall assessment of me. I would like to clear up stuff you've said that I don't find true and would like to kindly correct you on. 1. You didn't make my career, even remotely. Destiny has chain raided me before that, I believe, many and multiple times. I am the most raided person Destiny has ever had in his orbit. 2. Your read on me about my mental health is semi-correct, but largely wrong. I have been through therapy and I have been on meds for many years by the time I started streaming. I was one of the original victims of the snarkers, and that is why I specifically do "drama" where the focus of my work is "anti-snarking". 3. The reason why CONOR is so obsessed with me as well is because we've been having a beef for years, but it largely went undiscovered and only unearthed pretty recently. 4. I'm not young. I'm Asian. I also prevented my balding with HRT. I'm 27. You, on the other hand, are bald and old. Asian > White. You're welcome. Also I'm banned from your chat. :p

Jim Jarmusch on why editing is similar to sculpting & how he wanted "Dead Man" (1995) to feel like: "Interviewer: Are you the kind of director who finds the film in the cutting room or do you do the montage in your head as you shoot? Jarmusch: I’m in-between. When | go in the cutting room, I have a pretty good idea of how a scene was intended to be cut together. The editing is very important because you get to a Zen-like place where the film starts telling you how to cut it. A lot of scenes were shot for 'Dead Man' that are not in the film. Shooting is like cutting up big pieces of granite that are sort of in the right shape of the thing you want to sculpt out of them. And then you go back, and the shape is not exactly what you had in mind so you sculpt them some more. I like the process. That’s why I never use a storyboard, and on 'Dead Man' I didn’t even have shot lists in advance. I don’t want to know in advance what we’re going to do because then we are not thinking on our feet. Interviewer: How did you work out the conception of the film’s look with DP Robby Miiller? It’s a black-and-white film with lots of shades of gray. And the landscapes were quite ugly but beautifully so. Jarmusch: We worked hard to use black and white like it was used in the ’30s and ’40s when the gray scale was the color palette. We wanted to avoid the recent “hard” black-and-white look, although the blacks are very black and the whites are very white. We wanted a feeling like a film by Mizoguchi. And when we were scouting for locations, whenever we saw any magnificent view, like a postcard type, we would appreciate it, Robby and I, and then turn out backs and look for our location with that out of view."
