Youri and Digne !!

Just on the bright side we're clearning old ages and high wages which lets be honest needed to be done, they're both not getting any older and Digne who's been great for us isn't going to get any better at his age. It should hopefully leave us room to replace now

Tielemans has a lowish release clause because you got him on a free transfer I would imagine. Wouldn’t have put a £35m release if you’d paid £50m

Sensible this summer to get a lot of the 100k+ players off the wage bill and bring in some younger talents who don't command as high a wage but scope to be rewarded if they perform

As you watch him week in and week out over the last few years. Would you say United are getting a good player who can walk straight into our midfield and improve it? Curious to get the Villa fans point of view as you’ll know him best.

I’ll only lose my 💩 if Kamara , Roger’s or McGinn are sold. Fully confident Villa have near future replacements lined up. Would personally love to see McGinn drop back into midfield and we sign Bowen

Monchi has blood on his hands yet again, what was he thinking with that clause.

Agree with you Justin. Players come and players go - some will be painful but it is football. If the leaving name isn’t Emery we will be ok

Loving the glasses Mr J 👍🏼

Reduces the wage bill considerably though and that has to happen but it’s all about the replacements. LB replacement must have been on the cards for the last 18 months. Losing Youri is a huge loss but let’s see who’s coming in. UTV

Be 33 in a weeks time tbf.

Hit the Nail of the head! Aging squad, need to rebuild 29/30 year old out not bad it’s more about the talent we bring in! Need to bring in quality rather than just numbers.

Lucas Digne playing against us in the super cup 😢 Youri playing against us in the prem 😢

Wages and not getting younger Digne made a few mistakes last season Yuri had a few injuries I think this is the start of the clear out of old and high wage players Incoming younger cheaper to develop under Emery .

😂😂😂😂😂 Release clauses and players using you as stepping stones Big 6 my arse

Always Justin is the calm and reads Voice.

Am I the only one not shitting my pants? I hate to see them go, but with their wages off the books we can add some younger players. We're going to be fine and keep progressing.

Digne is 33 next week

Lucas Digne turns 33 on the 20th July. Mate it’s time.

Agreed. Digne nearly 33!

So sad to hear both are leaving! So many memories 😢😢

How on earth Digne has pulled off a starting spot for France and a move to PSG, I will never know 😂

Great perspective as always, can’t wait to take my mind off tielemans later whilst watching latest drone update 💜🩵

Digne turns 33 in a week

WTF is going on at Villa!?? I'm shocked this morning seeing this that 2 of our players are gone in the space of an hour 💔

Keep calm and Up The Villa!

This is a disaster

Robinson from Fulham would be a good replacement for Digne.
