PS Omollo warns Homabay Governor, Madam Wanga that her “days are numbered” Omollo says politics of conmanship ended with the death of Raila Odinga, and that those who have been lying to Luos for along time, thinks Luos are stupid. The rift between Omollo and ODM has grown following the Kasipul by-election where Omollo was supporting the independent candidate against the ODM Candidate. Omollo has also been grooming his elder brother who is expected to run for Homabay Governor in 2027 on UDA ticket, with the current Deputy Governor as his running mate. Following the death of Raila and with Oburu under his tight control, Ruto has accelerated his takeover of Luo Nyanza, buying politicians, bloggers, etc using PS Omollo. The Luo politicians who have refused to kowtow have been threatened that they will be rigged out in 2027 and there is nothing they will do about it.

I am talking with a lot of conviction and with serious evidence at hand. Yesterday, Raymond Omollo is the one who sponsored goons to access Kisumu International Airport, waiting for Babu Owino and Edwin Sifuna, and to be involved in clashes. They did not want us to go to Kakamega. Over 200 goons were given pangas, knives to attack us yesterday at the airport. The PS is busy talking the way he is talking. Shame on him #CitizenSundayLive

PS Raymond Omollo: I don’t think I would want to respond to Osotsi; he is a leader, a senator, a legislator. We are a constitutional country with processes, and if anyone, not just in the name of the PS, is involved in any criminal activity, there is a process that needs to be undertaken. If there is any evidence that you were involved, I would go to a police station, report, and follow the matter. Up to this point in time, I am not sure if anything like that has happened. As it is, I would consider it street talk. The question is, what would be the interest of PS Omollo in attacking Senator Osotsi? What is it that Osotsi is doing that affects my work? #CitizenExplainer

I have watched this Dr Oburu Odinga interview and I have realised the following; 1. Edwin Sifuna will be stripped of from the party as SG next NEC. Seems Oburu was annoyed by the word mediocre 2. CS Wandayi is protected and won't resign. 3. It seems zoning won't be allowed. They will allow any member to vie. Gladys Wanga is the most affected by UDA fronting Oyugi Magwanga 4. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki will have lose his seat to accommodate ODM and Joho is likely to be the one for that 5. There's a rift in the party and expect a serious fallout. Gladys Wanga and Junet Mohamed are no longer in good terms with Oburu decisions

Senator Edwin Sifuna does not have a problem with being removed as the SecretaryGeneral of the party. Such removal must be carried out in accordance with the party constitution, its guidelines, and the Constitution of Kenya. The Secretary General should be removed through a National Delegates Conference (NDC). The current National Executive Committee (NEC) is not properly constituted. No NDC was held by the party to install Youth leader Oburu Odinga as the party leader. Winnie Odinga: I think Dr Oburu Oginga is a wonderful acting party leader in this transition period and he is steadying the ship. This is not a very easy ship to steady, but he is weathering the storm and he has said many times that he is acting transitionally and will make space for other young people. My uncle has lived a life of determination, strength and loyalty. Winnie Odinga would be the last person that at his age of 82, would allow his legacy to be besmirched by a political tug of war. We are very happy with him being in the position that he is; he is certainly the best person in that position #CitizenExplainer
