Mini thread on Matisse Thybulle's exit interview because I'm not sure there's a more insightful interview in the NBA. Thybulle on if he still has levels he wants to get to as a player: "Over this year I felt more connected to the path of getting there then I ever have and that says a lot to our coaching and development staff... You look at players like Deni, I don't think I've seen a player get that much better over one season in my career. Just continuing to see examples of that. Toumani last year to this year. Myself if 15 games."

A lot of it is him talking about his faith. And I've seen his content before, but only him debating the college kids. I've never seen anything else. I didn't even really know he's religious like that. I remember I had asked Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason if he would be down to do a YouTube live interview and he said that it wasn’t a good time and he’d let me know if something worked out. Naturally I just thought he was good off doing the interview which is perfectly fine but right after the 49ers lost to Philly in the NFCCG, he reached out and dm’d me if I wanted to setup an interview. I thought that was so cool that he really reached back out to set up the interview with me like he said he would. We did the interview, he was great, laid back, we talked ball, the chat was absolutely electric. My favorite interview I’ve ever done. I know BA has done a lot of extremely questionable things as of late but I genuinely miss this dude who just chopped it up with me on stream for over an hour and was super generous with his time.
