This is not an easy video to post. I was let go from Turning Point USA, and while I’m grateful for the opportunities I had, I can’t ignore what I witnessed. Especially how employees are treated and the direction the organization is moving in. I’m not here to be bitter. I’m here to be honest. This video is the beginning of me telling the truth, as much as I legally can. I’m speaking up because I know I’m not the only one who’s felt this way and our First Amendment right matters, too.

Hey TeamYouTube YouTube, I recently received a strike on my channel, and I believe that my channel is being targeted by another creator on the platform. I received a false strike that you guys weren't willing to dive deep into, and I tried to take this up with YouTube support, but I feel like you guys didn't look at this from a fair standpoint because either A, you guys want to show favoritism to your bigger creators. Or B, because of the mass reporting this bigger creator has done to my channel with his audience. Either way, its still YouTube showing favoritism.

Can someone at TeamYouTube explain how a video I reacted to is still up and fully accessible (and rightly so because there's nothing wrong with it) and yet MY video gets taken down, even after I'd actually edited out some parts before posting, and I get a strike for it. Just what the hell is going on?!? Can I please get a HUMAN to look at this for once??? “He quit because he was starting to get too famous for his wife. She got jealous.” That innocuous statement I made about Luke Nichols of the “Outdoor Boys” YouTube channel is probably going to get 1M impressions. But why did I say it? What I said is based on his goodbye/hostage video from last year, where he explained why he was quitting YouTube. His wife and him were starting to have concerns about privacy and safety. Okay, fine. So did he take his videos down? No. Did he nuke his channels? No. Did he unplug entirely to live a quiet life like PewDiePie? No. Luke has gotten 7M more subscribers since he made this video, for a total of 19.4M. Everything is still up. More people are seeing his content and are becoming aware of him. And he’s also helping his kids with their channels! If you’re concerned about privacy and safety, that’s just not something you would do. So when someone’s actions don’t match their words, there must be some other reason for it. I think the most logical reason is that his wife didn’t like all the attention he was getting. 🤷‍♂️ (Also, there are a lot of weird jump cuts in his video. I did not add those. I’m not sure why this simple video had to be spliced together.)

Dansby Swanson walking through this infield routine via his YouTube video. I cut it up to show my favorite parts but the full length video is on his channel. I just stumbled on this and absolutely love seeing different perspectives on how the pros go about their routines. Everyone is different but the fact he is sharing what makes him great, for free, is a huge advantage to the youth/coaches/parents out there. I wish I had videos like this growing up! It may be baseball but it 100% applies to softball.
