I found this game to be both highly addictive, super tough and - at times - frustrating. What can't be denied is its cult status and longevity, with the latest title of the series (Haunted Castle Revisited) being published in 2024. A brilliant platformer, if you had the skills (which I didn't). Note: Video edit is the 1987 NES version, which came after the original 1986 Famicon debut.

I saw a guy on Youtube make a DIY Kamado smoker like this with concrete blocks so decided to try it. It did the job but I felt like the smoke was escaping too much and it was difficult to control the fire, either it'll be too hot or too cold because the charcoal or wood wouldn't light. Also if fire was too hot it toasted the bottom of the meats. My takeaway is, just invest in a good smoker. And this wasn't even that cheap. About $200 for all the materials with the plywood being the most expensive thing.
