YUSUF'S DIARY SESSION Yusuf shared that he's been feeling good and that his experience in the Big Brother house has been a positive one so far. Speaking on not being saved by the housemates, he admitted he wasn't surprised. He explained that he's naturally not someone who tries to... be friends with everyone, so he never expected his name to be on everyone's lips. However, he sees it as motivation to let viewers and fellow housemates see more of his personality and become more open. When asked whose save surprised him, Yusuf mentioned Barry. Since Barry spends a lot of time in the kitchen, he felt Cassi would have been the more obvious choice. That made him realize there must be qualities about Barry that people genuinely appreciate. On the new HOH, Yusuf said he believes she'll do a great job. He recalled her saying she wants to make her child proud and expects her leadership to bring a completely different atmosphere. Reflecting on the Talent Showcase, Yusuf became emotional as he spoke about his father. He revealed that the performance was his way of honoring and appreciating the man who shaped him. He hopes his father watched it and felt seen, loved, and appreciated because people like him often make countless sacrifices without receiving the recognition they deserve. Yusuf added that watching his father overcome what seemed impossible gave him the confidence to believe in himself and become capable of doing so many things. Imagine opening up about your life and your experiences, only for those same experiences to become something someone uses to ridicule you. So when Biggie asked Yusuf about his connections in the house, what exactly was he supposed to call that? Was he supposed to pretend everything was perfect? Was he supposed to describe a connection as deep when he personally didn't feel that depth? Yusuf was answering a question about HIS experience. He never said they were bad people. In fact, he specifically acknowledged that they were good people. He simply said he didn't enjoy having certain conversations with them because he felt they didn't connect with him on a deeper level. And somehow, that has been twisted into Yusuf believing he is better than everyone else. It is even more painful because Yusuf has never pretended to come from a life of privilege. This scene adds so much to Boromir's death. He left a place where he was hailed as a hero, but perhaps also the lone hope of a country trapped in the shadow of Mordor. And if that evil is unleashed in full, Gondor will receive its wrath first. The weight of the burden he carries is tremendous from that alone. Add to that a doting father of whom he is both wary and weary, and a brother whom he loves and has to leave with that same father. From all of that he comes to Rivendell, a stranger, and from a country that represents man more than any other. And remember, "Men are weak." They allowed the Enemy to live on through that weakness. Nobody trusts them, therefore nobody trusts Boromir. And as it turns out, he is weak indeed. The Ring plays upon his despair. Tempts him to bring the quest to ruin in its earliest days. And perhaps the one person in whom he might find hope, Aragorn, spurns him and Gondor entirely. And then his weakness causes his greatest failure, as he tries to take the Ring for himself. But then he sees his error in his moment of greatest failure, and rather than succumbing to that failure, he rises and defends the Fellowship, defends the friends of the one he tried to harm, and friends of his own whom he had grown close to during the journey. He takes three arrows for these friends, and then, as he lay dying, Aragorn honors him and gives him hope that perhaps Gondor might be saved after all. And whether Boromir realized it or not before he died, Aragorn's resolve to become that man, to become the King of Gondor, starts with honoring a man who showed the weakness he feared, and yet overcame it in the end. Boromir is, in a sense, a repentant version of Isildor. And in that, Boromir dies not in dishonor, but as the hero we saw in Faramir's memories.

Pere all his life has been surrounded by women, his mom, his sisters, his friends and his colleagues. Never as he ever needed or wanted to be abusive to any of them. It will be unfair to judge him by situations that have tested his patience, his will over and over. During the week, he complained about the constant goading and picking on, it has been a situation that has made him uncomfortable despite his several attempts at avoidance. Pere is a firm believer of women and has constantly supported women. Tram’s diary session was filled with gratitude, reflection and a heart ready for whatever comes next. He said he feels blessed and is gradually beginning to realise that this whole experience is actually real. His highlight of the week was winning the Gordon’s task, especially because he contributed his own idea and got to see it come to life. Seeing his team win felt even more special because he participated despite being very sick. Speaking about his chances of surviving tonight, Tram said he feels blessed to have come this far and is ready for whatever happens. He reflected that if he survives tonight, perhaps it means he is needed in the house, especially since he entered without any particular game plan. “For a long time, I was a guest in our house” Thierry Henry speaks from his soul. He has depth. He’s a man in touch with himself. I recall some years ago, he spoke about how much he wanted to please his father on Steven Bartlett Diary of a CEO podcast. Everything he aimed to achieve was to please the voice that rang in his head, telling him to do it better. His father stood behind him while he built a career, probably saw the good many never saw. As a father, he also mentioned how COVID-19 changed his life. It was the point he chose his family. That was probably why he said at some point, he became a guest in his house. Men become guests in their house. There was a Reminisce Alaga interview I saw. I think it was on ISaidWhatISaidPod. He said there was a point he went into his daughter(s) room and asked when they painted the wall pink. His wife told him it’s been there for two years. He said that was the point he thought it important to rest on the tours and be with his children. At that point, he probably was a guest in his house. Men’s lives are not easy. Footballers especially — elite footballers most especially are like tour musicians. They’re often on the road. You’re playing away games round the country, spending three days or more away from home when you have continental away games. Gabriel Jesus spoke about the same thing in his recent interview with The Players’ Tribune titled “A Letter to My Family and my Arsenal Family”. He said football made him distant but his ACL injury brought him closer. “I wasn’t the husband and father that I needed to be,” he said. When his wife gave birth to his daughter, he said he only held her for one day. Brazil called and he had to go. And he was a guy who grew up without a father. For his child at the time, he was there now but wasn’t there too. “I always promised myself: When I become a father, I will always be there for my kids. “When Helena was born, I was not living up to that. I was there, but I was always distracted, you know? Always catching a flight.” That’s the tough decisions men have to make sometimes. At the point of growth and ascent, life will ask questions, and difficult decisions will need to be made. Hopefully, it will be one that won’t damage the future. The future one is securing.

We all knew this day would come... I mean, he was in his 90s... but it still doesn't make it any easy. He fought the good fight and lasted long enough to touch and bless so many generations, showing us the true meaning of strength, leadership, and kindness by being a father for many. Hell, without him and his voice, the franchise probably wouldn't have lasted long. He was the one... the OG father and leader. Let us not be sad that he is gone, but be happy that he was there at all. In a way, this is a new era, a new transformation for us all. So let's remember him that way and allow him to live on by spreading what he taught us all.

Farage has been told over and over again that he has to start building a shadow Cabinet and he has to publish much more policy in order to build credibility. Dominic Cummings says his lack of a team and plan is coming up in focus groups. So why hasn’t he done it yet? He knows he’s not going to be PM. It’s already been decided that Zia Yusuf is going to be the PM so Nigel Farage MP has given him total control. I’ve been told by Reform donors that when they’ve gone to Farage with concerns he literally tells them “that’s up to Zia go and ask him”. I’ve also been told that they have barely even recruited an in-house team for their HQ let alone candidates for the GE, let alone peers, let alone people to run departments and agencies, etc. Remember that when Yusuf resigned Farage was reported to have said it felt like he’d lost a limb and was very emotional. How could that be given he’d only known Yusuf for 9 months at that point? Something is very badly wrong at the top of Reform. Farage and Yusuf need to go.
