Antonio Langham had a pick 6 vs Auburn in 1992 when the score was tied 0-0 in the 3rd qtr, then a week later had the Pick 6 late in the first SEC Title game to seal the win to get to the Sugar Bowl to face Miami. Week before AU, Langham scored on a block punt at MSU.

Antonio Langham in the inaugural SEC title game against Florida was the biggest. Preserved an undefeated season on the way to a National title. Eddie Jackson and Minkah were pick-6 machines in 2015 and 2016. Zabien is in great company, but Langham stands alone.

Three of the coldest picks in Louisville Football history 🐔🔥 • 2013 Sugar Bowl vs Florida – Terrell Floyd jumps the route on the first play of the game and takes it to the house. Louisville goes on to stun the Gators. • 2021 vs UCF – Jaylin Alderman seals it with a walk-off pick six in the final seconds. • 2025 vs Miami – TJ Capers came up clutch with the game-winning pick to ice it for the Cards, taking down the No. 2 team in the country in MIYAYO. Man… it’s definitely debatable which one takes the crown. The Sugar Bowl had history… but last night? The pulse of the whole season was on the line and the Cards showed up in a major way.

Falcons Coach Kevin Stefanski says he never considered putting Jack Strand in the game vs. Steelers. Even though Cooper Rush threw 2 picks (a pick six that amounted to the difference in the 20-13 final score). Rush now has 8 INT and just 2 TD passes with an 0-4 record in his last 4 NFL starts. I get that Strand is UDFA rookie from D2 program. But he has been with the team longer than Rush. Could he have been any worse? If he was, wouldn't have changed the outcome. Loss anyway. But the fact Stefanski just "dismissed" that as an option is concerning. I thought the goal was to trying to win. If it is, they didn't explore an option that a lot of their fans feel should have at least been looked at. IMO That answer was dismissive of the team's fans

Former Cincinnati Bengals QB Ken Anderson retired as the highest rated passer in the history of the AFC. He was the highest rated passer in NFL post-merger playoff history at 93.5. He produced the highest rated passing performance in the history of Conference Championship games (115.9 vs. San Diego in the Freezer Bowl at -59 degrees wind chill, breaking Roger Staubach’s record of 112.2) and the highest rated performance in Super Bowl history for anyone with more than 30 attempts (95.2). He set the mark for the highest cmp-percentage in Super Bowl history at 73.5%. His single-season cmp-percentage record of 70.6% stood for 27-years before Drew Brees broke it by less than 0.1% in 2009. His single-game cmp-percentage record of 90.9% (20 of 22) was set vs. the Steel Curtain’s No. 1 ranked defense in 1974. They held all other opponents that season to 127 of 317 (40.06%). His era-adjusted Rate+ career mark of 114 places him right in between Tom Brady (115) and Patrick Mahomes (113). He produced 8 winning seasons—only 3 of which were backed by a Top-10 defense. Anderson is not a borderline/fringe candidate. He is one of the most dominant players in NFL history. #Bengals | #WhoDey

The difference between Mr. Olympia in 2023 vs. 1999 is insane.. They arrived ready to dominate at Mr. Olympia, the most prestigious contest in bodybuilding. Founded in 1965 by Joe Weider under the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, it created a true professional stage where elite physiques could earn real recognition and income. Each year, the world watches as the most conditioned athletes pose beneath intense lights, judged on size, symmetry, and presentation. Winning Mr. Olympia is everything in the iron game, cementing legends and proving bodybuilding is more than a sport—it’s a lifestyle built on discipline, grit, and glory.

Long one. Eagles' Offense All22 Thread vs. Titans. 1) The Eagles start off the game, in the most Eagles way imaginable. I laughed out loud of this. 2 TE, stacked box, failed run. Who saw that coming? Mundt falls over and gets destroyed (in quite amusing fashion). They are asking Goedert to get to the LB which he has no interest (or chance) in doing Steen/Kendall double team is messy, which means Jurgens can't get to the LB. Lane can't move his guy because he runs into Steen. It's just a calamity of errors.

TRANSFER TUESDAY: Miami Hurricanes Football had one of the best portal processes of any team in the country, with UH transfer WR Sam Brown (Sam Brown jr.) being one of the best additions any team made to their WR room this offseason. Brown was a standout at Houston, and by most services was the top-rated WR in the transfer portal. A well-built (nearly 6’2, 195) perimeter receiver, Brown is a highly impressive athlete, boasting a 4.4 PAI (per Tracking Football), led by a 24’01 long jump (96th percentile), and posting a 4.45 forty and a 38 vertical in high school. He joins a now loaded, explosive offense for QB Cam Ward (Cameron Ward) and creates one of the best WR trios in college football with fellow WRs Jacolby George (Jacolby George) and Xavier Restrepo (Xavier Restrepo) Last year, he forced 20 missed tackles after catch, second-best among Big 12 WRs in 2023. And he stood out against top competition: 46% of his total receiving production came against in-state, P4 competition. Brown has high grades from NFL scouts coming into the season, and will be a part of maybe the most balanced, talent-laded skill position group in the country. He’ll be a part of what could be a special season for the 2024 Miami Hurricanes offense. 🔥🔥🔥 #ShrineBowlWhosNext

I repeat: Morocco is the most pathetic AFCON host in history.🚮 World-class stadiums, village behavior. Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe it. Ball boys targeted Nwabali and took his towel vs Nigeria a few days ago. He reacted, and the whole country lost its mind! So Entitled. They did it again, with help from Captain Achraf Hakimi this time vs Senegal. He literally took Mendy’s towel and threw it to the ball boys to hide it. It got so bad that Senegal’s reserve gk,Yehvann Diouf, had to stand next to the post to hold Mendy’s towel, but the Moroccan ball boys went to attack him and dragged the Nice GK on the ground trying to take the towel. Professional footballers dragged by ball boys and the Federation awards Morocco FAIRPLAY award??💀 This embarrassing behavior can not go unpunished. CAF must never take football back to this country. I don't even want to talk about the officiating that got them to the final. Infrastructure alone does not qualify you to host AFCON. Respect and fair play matter, and this has been disrespectful to African football. Barbaric, at the least.🚮

Brysen Wright, RareBreeds 12U 6'2 180, Wide Receiver St. Augustine, Florida The best player on the field was obvious for Sunday's main event of the Youth National Championship presented by Battle Sports. Wide receiver Bryson Wright is the prototype as a pass catcher. Massive frame that is already Power Five ready despite still in middle school. He is filled out and with six-plus years of development before he can even enter a college weight training program, he passes the eye test better than most top wide receiver prospects in the 2024 class right now. An addition to the already star studded RareBreeds perennial Yfbplayoff winning squad, Wright has brought a 'Florida swagger' to a team that dominated 40-14. "The coaching." said Wright on what has elevated him to the top of his age group. "I've been working with the right coaching, learning how to not be selfish and always just do the best I can. Normally tall, bigger guys can't play the way I play. I'm athletic for my size and that's really the biggest part of my game that makes me different." Intangible-wise he checks every single box the same as his size. Wright was able to run multiple routes and did not simply rely on being the biggest skill position player on the field. He is a natural catcher of the football and showed it on a highlight-worthy one-handed grab in the left corner of the endzone early in the contest. On an in-breaking 10-yard route, Wright took a reception for 40-plus for a score proving he can mix in some explosiveness and speed to being a massive target. Ohio State, Florida State, North Carolina and Georgia are schools he hopes to hear from once he gets to the high school level, but he may not have to wait too long. College coaches are already taking notice of the advanced offensive weapon and he could end up one of the few middle school prospects to earn Power Five offers before even deciding where he plays high school ball.

🚨🗣️New: Thierry Henry reacts to the USA vs Paraguay stoppage for TV commercials: “I’ve spent my entire life in this beautiful game — as a player at the highest level, as a fan, and now as someone who analyses it every week — and what unfolded during that USA versus Paraguay match left me deeply frustrated. The fourth official standing there on the touchline, arm raised high, instructing the referee to hold the restart… not for any injury, not for tactical reasons, and not even primarily for player hydration in that scorching heat. No. It was because the broadcast team hadn’t finished airing all their commercials. That’s not football. That’s a television show pretending to be a World Cup match. The beautiful game is being strangled by greed. Players are out there in the heat, ready to restart, momentum building like a storm about to break — and we pause everything so the sponsors can cash in. It’s like stopping a symphony mid-crescendo because the advertisers want their jingle heard. Football didn’t conquer the world by turning into American sports with endless timeouts and ad breaks. We had rhythm, flow, emotion that flowed like a river. Now? It’s dammed up for dollars. This isn’t about hydration or player welfare anymore — it’s a slippery slope where the soul of the game is sold piece by piece. Fans deserve better. Players deserve better. The referee on that pitch looked like a puppet on strings controlled from some broadcast truck. Enough is enough. We need to protect what made this sport the greatest on Earth before it disappears completely.” The World Cup should be football’s cathedral. Instead, we’re turning it into a shopping mall with a pitch in the middle. And here’s the question nobody wants to answer: if the fourth official is waiting for commercials, then who is really running the game? FIFA? The referee? Or the broadcasters? Because the moment football starts asking advertisers for permission before asking the players, you’ve crossed a line. The World Cup is supposed to be the showcase of football. Not the showcase of who paid the most for airtime.”

While many around the league don’t expect any linebackers to be drafted tonight, if there is one, it certainly could be #TexasAM’s Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper is the most complete LB in the 2024 draft class. He’s shown to be: 1️⃣an elite athlete 2️⃣a consistent and impactful run defender 3️⃣a capable and efficient blitzer, and 4️⃣able to use his size and bend to disrupt in pass protection As a run defender, he finished with an 87.6 PFF grade, highest among any expected draft linebackers in this year’s draft class. That includes 15 TFLs or no gain plays. As you can see (🎥), his downhill force plus balance and control allows him to consistently win in the run game As a pass rusher, he had 7 sacks on the year, 4 of which came from playing on the line of scrimmage. When lined up on the line of scrimmage, he generated a pressure on over 30% of his pass rush snaps. Elite ‼️ And in coverage, he finished with a top-10 coverage grade int eh country last season (per PFF College) among LBs lined up in the box. He’s able to use his length and bend, along with developed vision and timing to disrupt plays from the box. Couple all of that with a 4.51 forty time and would-be impressive athletic testing numbers if he was 100% for the draft process (why he wasn’t able to officially go every day in practice at This Account Has Moved), and it’s hard to ignore his NFL starting potential. There’s a real chance he goes in late round one, but if he’s there on Day 2, he may not only be one of, if not the, first linebacker drafted, but may be one of the first players taken on Day 2 of the draft. #ShrineBowlWhosNext

In a time when smaller FBS programs are getting raided by P4 powers, credit Toledo HC Jason Candle & staff's culture for keeping guys like Eagles first-rounder (and Panini Senior Bowl standout) Quinyon Mitchell and current DL Darius Alexander, who has 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙂5 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙞𝙣 2025 𝙉𝙁𝙇 𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩. Darius Alexander🦍 is a long, powerful, & scheme versatile 3/5-tech that makes things look easy vs. MACtion comp. He moves and bends naturally for such a big man and he's skilled with his hands vs. both run & pass (s/o to DL Coach Frank Okam!). For anyone looking for Alexander's best tape, just checkout bowl game versus Wyoming where he had a sack and 4 QB hits. Below clip is Alexander overpowering one of our favorite IOL from last year's draft, Cardinals third-rounder Isaiah Adams, for a sack. 👀 Don't want to put my lofty player comp on him right now but I'll share it later this fall. 🤔 #TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️

🇪🇸📰𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐘𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐋:⚽ 𝐌𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 1/2 I started watching football in the late 90s and really got hooked in the early 2000s. I've watched Zidane, Ronaldinho, Henry, Drogba, Kaká, Rooney, Lampard, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo shape different eras of the game. I'm a Chelsea fan. CR7 is still my GOAT. So when I call Lamine Yamal my young GOAT, I'm not saying he's already greater than the legends I grew up watching. I'm saying I've watched enough football to recognize when a teenager is doing something genuinely unusual. Yamal was 15 when Barcelona gave him his senior debut. At 16, he became the youngest player ever to appear at a European Championship. Then he helped Spain win Euro 2024 and was named the tournament's Best Young Player. Barcelona eventually handed him the legendary No. 10 shirt. And he kept producing. In 2025/26, he helped Barcelona win LaLiga, finishing with 16 goals and 11 assists before being named LaLiga's Player of the Season. Then came the 2026 World Cup. Before turning 20, Yamal had already added a World Cup winners' medal to his collection. That's when the comparison stops being about hype. He's already building a résumé.

The 1994 NFL MVP: Steve Young 30 years ago, Steve Young delivered what many consider as one of the greatest seasons in QB history, earning his second MVP in three years, and the fifth MVP for the 49ers franchise, which was the most of any franchise at that point. Young had himself a generational campaign, with a passer rating of 112.8 (an NFL record at the time), 324 out of 461 completions, 3,969 yards, and 35 touchdowns. But Steve Young could run the ball, too. His 293 rushing yards that season were the most of any quarterback in the league, as were his 7 rushing touchdowns, and perhaps most impressively, Young fumbled only 4 times. Young was not only the best passer in the league, he was also the best running quarterback. In that era, this was an extraordinarily lethal and rare combination. In the Super Bowl, he threw six touchdown passes in a 24-for-36 performance against the San Diego Chargers, leading San Francisco to a 49–26 championship victory. On the 75th anniversary of this iconic 1994 season, a year where throwback uniforms were celebrated by the NFL and a special anniversary logo patch was worn, we’ve brought back the Authentic 49ers ‘94 uniform. Staying tuned to the finer details that make all the difference, our Authentics feature the same ‘HAY’ letters that was embroidered into each patch that year. This was done to pay homage to Ralph Hay, who was incredibly influential in bringing teams together to create a more structured professional football league.

MJ: "You only got three, I got six." When asked in 2017, who ranks higher between LeBron and Kobe, MJ picked Kobe. His reasoning: "Would I rank LeBron over Kobe in terms of best of all time? No. There's something about five that beats three." The goal has always been to win championships. Trying to include Robert Horry in the conversation is just a red herring. People try and use Kobe's 00 Finals average as an indictment to his contribution to winning that ring but fail to bring up Kobe's defense in game one, holding Reggie Miller to 1-16 in a decisive 104-87 victory. Feel free to read that again. To show you Kobe's value, he was injured in game 2 after almost 9 minutes of play and what was a 17 point victory turned into a 6 point victory and a 9 point loss in game 3 without him. Indiana could've easily won game 4 after Shaq fouled out, and we all know what happened next. Kobe earned that ring despite how you interpret the box score. At the end of the day, Kobe still has five championships that the Lakers wouldn't have won without him. The proof in that statement lies in the fact that when Kobe had a lesser role in 97, 98, & 99, they were gentlemen swept, swept, and swept before even making the finals. The minute Kobe's role increased, they rattled off three straight championships. That's not a coincidence...
