Zach Cregger was diabolical for this

My God this movie was so creepy and interesting then it just fell off a cliff for like no reason other than Cregger wanted his mate in the movie.

🩸

That was his first ‘Resident Evil’ movie

This scene in the dark theater I was in was one of the scariest moments I ever saw and I loved it

Legit the best part of the whole movie. But, also sadly where the movie goes from being possibly the best thriller I've ever seen. To just being a mediocre horror flick. And, that ending? What the actual fuck? Talk about, "How to ruin your entire film at the end for dummies."

Omg why was she so annoying though

Mother wasn’t a villain

Compared to Cregger’s other films, Barbarian (iirc) had limited advertising, trailers didn’t show much and never showed anything involving the “Mother” … Weapons lost that element of surprise imo when the trailers featured Aunt Gladys and parts of the ending multiple times.

I should not have laughed as much as I did when I first seen this scene 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Barbarian will always be one of my favorite horror movie. So perfect. The writing is just a masterpiece. The surprise during the first time I saw it was mind-blowing.

classic 😭

peak!

TOO LOUD DOWN THERE!

I hate phone lights in horror movies.

Sorry, I'm out of the loop. What film is this?

Just watched this last night again. Not as scary the second time 🤷‍♂️

Cregger does the jump scares so well 👌🏽

He still hasn't reached this level again and it's really a shame.

Still his best movie, he went on a quality decline after this
