Kevin Durant on Cam Thomas’ future in the NBA: “I feel like Cam has a bright future. It just takes somebody to believe in his talent and his skill. Scorers and guys that score the basketball at a high rate, they get taken for granted in this league a bit. We’re so used to loving defenders and playmakers and guys that can be connectors, sometimes scorers get taken for granted. So hopefully somebody takes a chance on Cam and gives him what he deserves and puts the ball in his hands and builds around him and lets him grow into a player… Hopefully a team puts some trust in him.”

Keylan Rutledge on CJ Stroud: “He can dice it up out there. I watched him early in my career when he was at Ohio state, just dealing out there, he’s a baller. He’s one that I want to go out there & compete for everyday. I want to do anything to keep that guy upright, keep him protected. And the run game, let’s go run the ball so it can be easier for him to dice it up out there.”

Fan Favorite Jaron Pierre Jr is still getting buckets ! Every time I post Wick it does numbers and I see why. One of the most explosive and entertaining scorers in the Country! Last season I saw a few comments questioning if his scoring can translate to a higher level of competition. I would say he looks like he’s having even more fun playing in the ACC for SMU. With monster games such as 35 in a Win vs A&M & 24 vs Miss State, He’s showing more and more why he is a PRO.. Where is he on your draft boards and what team do you think can use a guy like him??

Clint Capela on Reed Sheppard 🚀 “Man the first time I saw him and we played he made like 10 shots in a row. From what I saw I was like this guy has got to play. This guy is ready. And I can see he has so much more potential. He’s going to get even better the more he plays.”

Joe Rogan: “That’s horrific…Innocent gay hairdressers gettin’ lumped up with the gangs? Like, how long before that guy can get out? Can we figure out how to get him out? Is there any plan in place to alert the authorities that they made a horrible mistake, and correct it?”

Great interview with Clemson HC Dabo Swinney from John Keim on what the #Commanders should expect from WR Antonio Williams: • “A complete player … a guy that’s going to impact the game with the ball, without the ball” • “He’s got elite ball skills. He plays bigger and longer than he is” • “I think he’s probably going to be a slot, but I think he can truly play the Z. I think he can play all three spots” • “Just one of the best kids you’ll meet…he’s not an up and down guy. He’s about his business…”

Patricio Pitbull calls out Jean Silva and says he’s ready for a quick turnaround: “Mark my words, I’m going to knock out everyone they put in front of me. I think our styles match up and we can have a great fight. It could be a war, or it could be easy for me or for him. He’s in a great position right now, and I think he’s avoiding me. He was frozen for three minutes [against Jose Delgado], and the guy was almost knocking him out. If that was me, he was done."

Rich Paul on why he believes Pat Riley said he’s not a big fan of today’s NBA 👀 “There’s a competitive nature that you have to have within you night in and night out for Pat Riley. Whether he’s a coach, FO guy. Also, there’s an accountability. Can you sit in a film room, be called out and not take it personal and take it with you to tonight’s game and perform. Can you do that? Can you sacrifice? Chris Bosh could. He did it and he won. So when Pat is evaluating talent, he’s not just evaluating your skill set, he’s evaluating your capabilities to do all the things he knows it actually takes to win. That’s why so many guys when they get to Miami, you’re like ‘damn, that guy? That’s him?’ I always say if I have a guy in the draft, please take him Miami!” (Via Game Over)

Who really knows Khabib, who is really close to him, they know what he did for the people, for his family, for everybody who is around him. He’s a great guy. Khabib can beat… like he can fight many, many more years, but he listened his mother. And that’s it. But we need him to coach now. He is a coach. More than he became a fighter, now we need him in the gym.” 💯🔥 Via: Complex

#Commanders WR Terry McLaurin on what TE Chig Okonkwo can bring to the offense: “Oh, man. He’s very dynamic, he runs routes similar to like a big receiver…when you have a guy who has great feet like that, who can win similar to a receiver, we may put him at number one, and that’s a mismatch. You put a linebacker on him, you put a corner on him, it’s a mismatch. So I think that’s what he could bring to our offense where he could be a matchup nightmare whether he’s in the slot or he’s on the outside…”

🎙️ Charles Lee: "When (Kon Knueppel) had his draft workout, there was this level of seriousness with him. I walked over at one point to say something to him during a drill and I made a joke, and he looked at me like, 'This isn't funny. I'm here to work. I'm here to get drafted.'" "And I was like, 'I like this guy.' You can coach him hard. You can say what you need to say, and he can get the message without getting too emotional... he's just even-keeled. And I felt that during the season, he just doesn't back down from anybody. He's not afraid of a moment. We saw it a little bit at Duke, where he can be the guy that can play off of (Cooper) Flagg, and then all of a sudden Flagg goes down and he can be the guy, dominate the ball, and play with the ball." "LaMelo (Ball)'s on the court, Brandon (Miller)'s on the court, he can play with them, but then if they get hurt, he can step up and be the guy. He's so effective in a lot of different ways and he picks things up so quickly. How people are guarding him or watching Donovan Mitchell do his little high pickup and get fouled, now Kon's trying to do the high pickup and he gets fouled... it's fun to watch him play the game and how he approaches every day." 🎙️ Russillo: "I couldn't believe the way he saw the game at that age... my favorite part of him is, 'Alright, pick whatever other four you want, he'll figure out a way to fit in with the other four.' Doesn't matter, like any combination of the other four guys, he'll find a way to impact it."

Sturm on Steeves who has 5 goals in the last 5 games: "I brought him up from the minors and I put him in more like a checking role and a fourth liner, and now look at him. So, good for him and again, he's a guy I trust. We'll see, it's tough to get him out of the lineup, I can tell you that." "He's very professional, even when he didn't like to go down. I remember he said, 'I will be back and I'm going to do everything I can to show you,' and that's what I like. And the way he said it, I believed it."

🚨 Vaibhav didn't get a chance to bat in the nets. He didn't get a chance to face even a single ball in the nets so he was seen practicing with the ball. It's so unfair that the captain of the team is jealous of him and now he is not even getting a chance to bat in the nets.

.Naval: There was a story that I read about Elon Musk that really affected me, which was when he was talking to Bill Gates, and Bill Gates had just taken out some huge short on Tesla. It was like a billion dollar short or something. And, Elon was like, “Why would you do that? Why would you short Tesla?” And Bill goes, “Well, you know, I talked to my financial advisors and I looked at the math and there’s no way it’s overvalued. And so I’m going to make money on the short.” And Elon goes, “What do you care about making money? I thought you were into electric cars and climate change and saving the world. What are you doing trying to save a few bucks and betting against Tesla?”. And he just walked away in disgust. And I think he never talked to Bill Gates after that. And that’s when I realized, like, Elon’s a purist. He means what he says. The money is a tool for him to get what he’s trying to do. And so I take him at face value, which is the crazy thing, because a lot of people who set these audacious goals to inspire people, you kind of know they don’t really mean it. Elon, I take at face value. So I really do think he intends to get to Mars. I don’t think he’s joking about that. And I think he means to get there within a defined window of time. And I don’t think it’s just like an inspirational, faraway goal. I think he’s very, very concretely going to do whatever it takes. Because Elon doesn’t want to go down in history as the electric car guy or even the guy who saved America guy. He wants to go down as a guy who got humanity to the stars. Again, I’ll give him more credit than that. I don’t even think he wants to go down as the “I got humanity to the stars” guy. He’s just like, “I want to get to the stars, and so I have to make it happen in this lifetime. The only way that I get to experience the science fiction world in my head is if I get to the stars.” And so that’s so inspirational. I think that drives everything. So I think the government was just a thing that got in his way.
