The hate likely comes from people who played the game in English. No offense to the voice actor... but English Zack is insufferable/was terribly casted imo. Can't play Crisis Core in anything but Japanese.

It's insane ngl. I really like Zack even tho CCs writing was horrible and Zack character writing is as simple as Patrick Stars thoughts but he is still super likable and a nice friend to Cloud! I hope Rebirth does him justice when it comes to writing 💯
