Nkanyiso Shinga[LB]✍️🏾 A fullback that is very strong in duels✅️ ■ He is a strong boy physically, very aggressive, and times his tackles well. He is effective in winning possession back, both in 1v1 situations and by making well-timed tackles. He looks heavy, but he has some good acceleration and stamina down the left. He has a high work rate. Something our current technical team will appreciate with his game. ■ He overlaps frequently. He is comfortable in combination plays or providing more width with overlapping runs. It's his crossing I think can get better, but he is still decent. There are some good curlers from that left foot. ■ He can anticipate passing well. He is efficient in closing channels or interceptions to break up opposition attacks. He is a good reader of the game and plays with so much commitment. He creates a lot of attacking opportunities on the left. He is able to get past defenders with some speed and dribbling. Data on his crossing frequency and accuracy is not showing a lot to take home, but it's still within the range of some of our best fullbacks in the league. Also, watching his application gives some confidence that he can consistently deliver quality into the box. He is a technically decent player. His good passing abilities will be valuable in the team, both short passes to maintain possession and longer passes to switch play or find teammates in attacking positions. He gives the team multiple options defensively and offensively. ■ He likes making attacking runs on the left, but he can also invert his runs to allow the winger space to attack wide or have those 1v1 situations with opposition fullbacks. ■ The team can easily use overloads on the left, something we didn't do much last season because we often lacked attacking quality from our LBs. Kwenzokuhle Nkanyiso Shinga❤️✌🏾

4v4 (+2) | Possession vs. Regain and Counter to Goal 🥅. ✅ Aim: ✔️ Regain Possession and Counter Attack Quickly. ✅ Set Up: ✔️ Space: 40 (L) x 30 (W) yards. All players start in one half of the pitch. ✔️Place 2 x mini goals 🥅 at one end of the pitch and 2x mini goals in one half of the pitch in diagonally opposite corners. ✔️⚫️s = Possession Team ✔️🔴s = Regain and Counter Team ✔️🟢s = Support Players for the team with the ball ⚽️. ✅ Scoring: ✔️ ⚫️s connect 5 passes or play a wall pass around a player = 1 goal ✔️🔴s regain the ball and 1️⃣ break into the other half and score quickly in a mini goal. Or 2️⃣ connect 4 passes in the half they are in and score in the corner mini goals. ✅ Session Guidance: ➡️ When the 🔴s break over over the halfway line 3 x of them can attack and 2x ⚫️s can recover to get the ball back into the possession half. (3v2). ➡️ Flip the roles of the teams every 3-5 minutes to allow them to practice possession and counters. ✅ Notes: ✔️ ⚫️s: Try keep the ball using controlled possession- spotting the right time to pause on the ball, play through opponents, or play a wall pass. ✔️ 🔴s: Try to win the ball cleanly using interceptions: THEN: 1️⃣ Counter quickly using forward passing and running 🏃‍♂️ 2️⃣ Secure possession and score in the mini goals in the half where the ball ⚽️ was won. Omar Cooper Jr. #5 WR/#34 overall Balanced skillset with very few red flags/major weaknesses. Good straight-line athlete, adequate size, excellent COD/fluidity. Played slot (83.3%) in '25 & Z (90.3%) in '24 - probably a slot in the NFL, but showed he can at least survive vs. press. Strengths: - Speed, C.O.D., & technique to separate from/stack man coverage at all 3 levels - Advanced salesmanship & sudden transitions as a route runner. Good feel for attacking leverage & turning the DB's hips - Changes speed down the stem to disguise his route & delay/rush the defender’s break - Separated consistently on digs/posts/outs/corners/sail routes. Very effective rocker step - Dangerous blend of elusiveness & contact balance after the catch - Led this WR class in missed tackles forced (27) & ranked 2nd in Yds After Contact/Rec (5.6) - 4.2% career drop rate - Body control, balance, & hand-eye-foot coordination to secure acrobatic catches Weaknesses: - Struggles to play through contact at the stem & breakpoint. Too easily knocked off schedule by grabby coverage - Inexperienced running curls & comebacks (19 routes/0 targets in 2025) - Needs to speed up his internal clock & get in/out of breaks more efficiently. Occasionally wastes time setting up/gathering into breaks - Had issues disguising routes & separating vs. trail technique - Struggles to win on quick slants vs. press-man. Needs a more convincing outside fake to set up the diamond release & a more explosive crossover step to gain separation - Gets stalled by quick jams at the LOS. Can sometimes dodge the punch, but it takes him a while to release through contact
