Zebec Protocol has taken 2026 by storm... Zebec Network (Zebec Network) describes itself as "rails for real-time finance." In simple terms, this means the protocol allows individuals and organizations to transfer funds instantaneously (be it payroll, contractor payments, or benefits) using both traditional systems, such as ACH and FedNow,...

So far, machine payments have mostly been about businesses accepting stablecoins. And stablecoins are great (cross-border, low cost, etc.)! But much of the planet is holding a card. 🤖 💳 🌎 Here’s a 📺 sneak peek demo from Steve Kaliski of how a business can programmatically accept cards via agents. As an example: Stripe Climate is a way to contribute to carbon removal funding. Stripe Climate implemented the Machine Payments Protocol using the Stripe API, so agents can make micropayment donations ( In addition to accepting stablecoin (specifically usdc on Tempo), agents can now pay with fiat methods, namely cards and Link (and soon buy-now-pay-laters) via Shared Payment Tokens (SPTs), using the same Machine Payments Protocol integration. Human buyers, their agents, and businesses each have their own preferred methods of payment. Humans often already have a card. Agents may prefer stablecoins. Businesses tend to want to accept any form of payment, as long as it is high conversion, low fraud, and properly priced. For microtransactions, stablecoins are a low-cost way (no fixed card fee) to transact. But if you want to tell your agent to donate $100 on your behalf, a card may be the preferred solution. If you’re a business and want to accept machine payments, whether over stablecoins, cards, Link, or other future methods, read about Shared Payment Tokens ( and sign up for our machine payments private preview: And stay tuned: more to make it easy for consumers, agents, and businesses to transact, shipping over the next few weeks. (And excuse the acronyms and specifics terms, there's a lot of new infrastructure and primitives being built to support agentic commerce.)

🚨 Something interesting is clearly happening right now, and it’s hard to ignore! 🚨 Yesterday, inside Ripple headquarters in London, Simon the CEO of Zebec Network posted a photo that immediately got people talking. That’s not the kind of place you just casually drop into without a reason. When you zoom out and look at what both sides are building, it starts to click. Ripple has spent years positioning itself as the backbone for global payments. Fast settlement, deep liquidity, and strong ties to institutions around the world. Zebec, on the other hand, is focused on something just as important but often overlooked. Real time money movement. Streaming payments. Payroll that actually functions in a modern digital economy. Now think about what happens if those two worlds connect. You’d have a system that doesn’t just move money across borders instantly, but also distributes it in real time once it arrives. Not days later. Not in batches. Instantly. That opens the door to things like global payroll running 24/7, salaries streamed by the second, and businesses managing treasury flows with a level of precision that simply doesn’t exist today. It stops being theory and starts becoming usable infrastructure. And the timing lines up almost too well. Institutions are stepping deeper into crypto. The narrative is shifting toward real world utility. The market is looking for projects that actually do something meaningful. A connection between Ripple and Zebec would check every one of those boxes. That photo might end up being more than just a visit. It might be one of those moments people look back on later and realize something bigger was quietly starting to take shape. Definitely one to keep a close eye on.

ADI Chain Mainnet and $ADI are now live. A new era of institutional blockchain starts today. From day one, $ADI is listed on Kraken, KuCoin, and Crypto.com, and soon on etoro, ensuring global accessibility and liquidity as the network scales. The token is also available through Wallet in Telegram, enabling users to manage $ADI directly within the Telegram app, as well as Fasset, the global banking and investment platform. $ADI is the native gas token powering all transactions across ADI Chain's L2 and customizable L3 domains, covering fees, smart-contract execution, and settlement across the network – enabling efficient, compliant infrastructure for stablecoins and real-world asset tokenization. Notably, ADI Chain will host the UAE's dirham-backed stablecoin being developed by First Abu Dhabi Bank and IHC, laying the foundation for a broader, multi-currency ecosystem of sovereign stablecoins. Built on ZKsync's Atlas and Airbender stack, ADI Chain delivers a compliance-ready framework for real-world, regulated digital infrastructure. It enables jurisdiction-specific L3 domains with optionally built-in KYC/AML, privacy controls, and programmable governance, all while remaining fully interoperable. Backed by 50+ government and enterprise projects across 20+ countries – including partnerships with Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre - مركز أبوظبي العقاري for real-estate tokenization and Emirates Driving for blockchain-based solutions – the network launches with real-world adoption already in motion. With 500 million people already within its reach and a roadmap to bring 1 billion people onchain by 2030, ADI Chain is positioned for institutional-grade scale. That's Different.

🚨 BREAKING: Gusto just added stablecoin payouts for international contractors via ZeroHash - 400,000+ SMBs. - Tens of billions in annual payroll. - Now gets Settlement in minutes, not days. Stablecoins as an instant payouts feature for international contracts is becoming table stakes. And that's a big market. --- This is labor market math, not crypto hype. Full-time independent contractors doubled in 4 years. 13.6M in 2020 → 27.7M in 2024. 11% of US small businesses now employ international contractors. Traditional cross-border payroll takes 3-7 days. That's a week of "payment in transit" while your contractor in Argentina waits to pay rent. --- Zerohash powers this integration. Same infrastructure behind Stripe's stablecoin flows, BlackRock's tokenized fund rails, and Morgan Stanley's upcoming E-Trade crypto trading. Mastercard is reportedly circling them at $1.5-2B. --- Tempo's docs nail why this matters for payroll: "Businesses must either rely on slow, expensive, unpredictable cross-border transfers to pay employees directly, or first move liquidity to local subsidiaries to access domestic payment rails. Each domestic rail comes with its own rules, banking holidays, cutoff times, formats, and fees." That's the patchwork stablecoins replace. One ledger. Sub-cent fees. Seconds to settle. --- Gusto serves mainstream small business America. When your accountant's payroll software starts settling on blockchain rails, the infrastructure debate is over. Stablecoins aren't replacing payroll. They're replacing the 3-7 day settlement window that banks built for a workforce that no longer exists. --- #Fintech #Stablecoins #Payments #FutureOfWork #GigEconomy

🌐 XDC Network x Brickken | Institutional Tokenization Infrastructure In our latest XDC Network show, we sat down with Ludo R., Co-Founder and CRO of Brickken, to discuss what real, institutional-grade tokenization looks like in practice today. Brickken has already enabled $300M+ in tokenized value across 16+ jurisdictions, supporting compliant issuance of equity, debt, funds, and real-world assets. This is not experimental infrastructure. It is production-grade. One of the biggest misconceptions is that tokenization is mainly a technical challenge. In reality, the hardest work happens off-chain: legal structuring, jurisdictional compliance, and institutional onboarding. Brickken exists to unify all of this into a single operating layer. We discussed why Brickken chose to integrate with XDC Network. Institutional finance cannot operate on unpredictable costs or congested networks. XDC’s fast finality, near-zero and predictable fees, and enterprise-aligned infrastructure make it a practical foundation for real-world assets. The bigger shift is who is leading adoption. Early narratives focused on retail. What we are seeing now is institutions moving first, driven by efficiency, instant settlement, and operational clarity as regulatory frameworks mature. Tokenization is entering its next phase: plug-and-play infrastructure, institutional-grade standards, and real integration with traditional finance. Podcast supported by XDC Foundation

My conversation with Rob Hadick >|<. As General Partner at Dragonfly, Rob has one of the clearest views on how blockchain is evolving from speculative crypto into the actual infrastructure of global capital markets. In this episode we dig into why finance, payments, asset issuance, and markets are the only parts of crypto that are truly scaling and how the industry is quietly becoming TradFi’s onchain upgrade. We spend a lot of time mapping traditional capital markets primitives directly onto blockchain rails and examining where value is actually going to accrue as tokenization, stablecoins, and onchain trading mature. At the center of the conversation is the belief that blockchain is no longer building a parallel financial system it is becoming the settlement, issuance, and trading layer for the existing one, while crypto itself settles into a more mature “capital markets +” phase focused on real assets, institutional flows, and sustainable business models. We discuss: - The current state of crypto as capital markets infrastructure and the decline of pure speculative narratives - Why finance, payments, and tokenization are winning while most other crypto applications struggle - The architectural parallel between traditional capital markets and on-chain systems - Tokenized assets = Securities - Stablecoins = Cash / settlement - DEXs & on-chain venues = Exchanges - Prediction markets = Information markets - Why institutions are moving on-chain and what they actually want (control, privacy, segregated markets) - Token vs equity: where value accrues in a non-Clarity Act world - The mass extinction event in crypto VC and why Dragonfly is doubling down on financial infrastructure - Stablecoins, RWAs, and the real path to “tokenization of everything” - Prediction markets (and why Polymarket matters) as the next interface layer - Sustainable business models and where value will ultimately capture Timestamps: 0:00 – Introduction & State of Crypto as Capital Markets 2:00 – Why Speculative Narratives Are Fading 7:00 – Finance, Payments & Tokenization as the Only Scaling Verticals 12:00 – Institutional Adoption & What Wall Street Actually Wants 18:00 – Token vs Equity Value Accrual 25:00 – Blockchain as the New Settlement & Issuance Layer 35:00 – Prediction Markets, Information & the Next Interface 45:00 – Crypto VC Consolidation & Dragonfly’s Thesis 55:00 – Real-World Assets, Stablecoins & On-Chain Markets 1:05:00 – Closing Thoughts: Where Value Accrues Next Enjoy!

How does XPay work on the backend to move money. Let’s find out. X (formerly Twitter) will use interledger protocol within its tech stack. Let’s discuss. XPay can integrate the Interledger Protocol (ILP) to enable seamless, cross-network payments. Here’s how it can work: 💰Interledger as a Routing Layer – ILP acts as a bridge between different payment networks, allowing XPay to facilitate transactions across banks, digital wallets, and blockchain networks without requiring direct partnerships with each. 💰Streaming Payments – XPay can use ILP’s streaming capability to send continuous micropayments, enabling pay-per-use services or real-time settlement for merchants. 💰Currency-Agnostic Transfers – ILP supports sending payments in one currency and receiving them in another. XPay could allow users to pay in their local currency while merchants receive in their preferred currency. 💰Interledger Connectors – XPay can use third-party ILP connectors or set up its own to route payments efficiently, reducing reliance on traditional banking rails. 💰Integration with Social Media (e.g., Twitter) – If XPay integrates with platforms like Twitter (as Vanessa suggests), it could enable instant monetization via tipping, content subscriptions, or ad revenue payouts using ILP’s frictionless payment system. 💰Wallet Interoperability – XPay could function as an ILP-enabled wallet, allowing users to send/receive payments across different networks without worrying about compatibility. By leveraging ILP, XPay can create a fast, low-cost, and interoperable payment system that works across traditional finance, crypto, and emerging payment networks.

One of Chainlink's core value props is that it is a neutral technology platform that does not compete with its customers Specifically, Chainlink is not a blockchain, and does not compete with blockchains Rather, Chainlink enhances the utility of all public/private chains by providing the oracle services their ecosystems need to succeed long-term This neutrality is why Chainlink has *thousands* of blockchain, Web3, and TradFi partners who rely on Chainlink for critical functionalities including: - Onchain data delivery - Cross-chain interoperability - Automated compliance - Privacy-preserving compute - Legacy system integration - Multi-system workflow orchestration As the cost and friction of launching a blockchain continues to drop toward zero, the number of public/private chains that exist will expand from hundreds today to thousands in the future If a cross-chain provider wants to pivot by launching their own blockchain and begin competing with Ethereum, Solana, Canton, and all of their existing blockchain partners, I wish them luck on that That’s not the game Chainlink is playing While blockchains fiercely compete amongst each other to become the transactional database layer, Chainlink wins regardless of which chains are used For Chainlink, every new blockchain introduced to the market is all the more justification for why organizations need Chainlink as their orchestration layer to manage the complexity That’s why financial market infrastructure providers like Swift, DTCC, Euroclear, and more have adopted Chainlink, they understand the financial system needs an orchestration layer To emphasize my point, here is a clip from DTCC executives explaining how the rapidly growing number of blockchains is why their partnership with Chainlink is so important

Tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) is one of the most transformative developments in finance and blockchain. Traditionally illiquid assets such as real estate, private equity, commodities, and art are digitized into blockchain-based tokens, enabling fractional ownership, greater liquidity, global accessibility, enhanced transparency, and efficient trading without intermediaries. Experts (incl. BlackRock) see tokenized RWAs as a multi-trillion-dollar shift. Projections range from hundreds of billions to trillions in coming years, driven by institutional adoption, clearer regulation, and scaling from pilots to production. Enter Realio Network ( a leading player built specifically to capture this RWA revolution. Realio Network’s Cutting-Edge Technology Realio Network is an interoperable Layer-1 blockchain developed using the Cosmos SDK, with full EVM compatibility (allowing Ethereum-style smart contracts) and powered by the Comet BFT (formerly Tendermint) consensus engine. It features a unique native multi-staking Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism, the first of its kind, that secures the network not just with its native token but also with real-world value through staking of tokenized RWAs and hybrid security tokens. As a multi-chain ecosystem, Realio leverages the IBC protocol for seamless interoperability across EVM and non-EVM chains (like Ethereum, Algorand, Binance Smart Chain, Solana and Base - bridges), enabling compliant issuance, management, and trading of digitally native RWAs. It’s open-source, permissionless, and compliance-focused, bridging traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi) while reducing barriers for issuers and investors. The $RIO Token: The Heart of the Network $RIO is the native gas and utility token of the Realio Network. It powers all transactions on the chain paying for gas fees, executing smart contracts, and facilitating operations across the ecosystem. Validators and delegators can bond $RIO (along with other assets like security tokens) to secure the network and earn block rewards, creating a system backed by both crypto and real-world value. With a capped supply of 175million total, depending on sources and multi-chain presence, $RIO drives governance participation, staking rewards, and overall network utility. It’s purely a utility token (not an investment in the entity), with value driven by network adoption and speculation always DYOR. Realio isn’t just infrastructure it’s building a full ecosystem for RWAs. Starting with Freehold Wallet This non-custodial, multi-chain DeFi wallet app is built directly on Realio’s blockchain infrastructure. It offers secure management of digital assets across chains, portfolio analytics, staking, and investment tools with a beginner-friendly mobile experience (available on iOS). Freehold empowers users to access and interact with RWAs seamlessly, and it enables anyone to tokenize any RWAs on the Realio Network Layer-1 blockchain, lowering barriers for creators and issuers to bring real-world assets on-chain. Districts A real-world-themed immersive virtual world that connects physical and digital realities. Users can own tokenized districts (RWAs) and shape the virtual world. Built on Realio Layer-1 with its own token $DSTRX “Own a piece of the digital world. Shape its future. Build your legacy.” Adding $RST: Hybrid Equity & Security Token $RST is a pioneering hybrid digital security token in the Realio ecosystem. Issued under Reg D/S, it gives holders real equity ownership and profit-sharing in Realio Technology LTD (the entity behind the network’s IP and development), plus blockchain utility features. Realio Network leads the RWA boom with strong tech, $RIO utility token, and tools like Freehold + visionary Districts project. Worth exploring if you’re into tokenized assets always DYOR and mind the risks! #RWAtokenization #Crypto #bitcoin #Binance

🚨 Ripple Set To Become The Global Central Bank With The U.S. Announcing Trade Unification With BRICS, UK, Japan and EU Russia just announced considering moving back to the US Dollar as part of a wide-ranging economic partnership with President Trump. • Russia is reportedly pivoting back toward the U.S. dollar, a structural shift in global settlement flows. Notably, Russian banks tested XRPL pilots with Ripple as early as 2018. • The India-U.S. trade corridor is expanding with the recent trade deal while multiple Indian banks have already tested XRPL rails at institutional scale(as noted in video below). • China, despite geopolitical tension participated in early Ripple/XRPL experimentation with BRICS countries between 2016-2018(documented). This is no longer a BRICS-only story: Japan, the EU, and the UK are building parallel regulatory pathways compatible with blockchain-based settlement. • Japan remains one of Ripple’s deepest strongholds, partnerships spanning 50+ banks, with Japan set to officially recognize as XRP as a financial asset by late 2026. • On Dec 1, 2025 Ripple received payments license in Singapore through MAS. • At the EU layer, ex-EU and now ECB President Christine Lagarde has previously acknowledged Ripple as a major disruptor to banking, signaling institutional readiness of where markets are heading. • Ripple now holds 40+ regulatory approvals across Europe, alongside fresh authorization in the UK, forming a compliant payments corridor across major capital markets. XRPL’s recently announced Permissioned domains will be used by global central banks and countries, with zk-credential system and identity-linked KYC wallets via DNA Protocol, allowing countries to move liquidity globally safely while staying compliant. ‼️ The Part Most People Missed: When Ripple secures a U.S. banking license, it effectively becomes a regulated dollar gateway, positioning RLUSD as the connective tissue of global liquidity while nations remain dollar-linked through XRPL rails.

Eight years ago, in 2018, OKX began building our European business. Over the past eight years, we have invested heavily in products, technology, governance, risk management, and regulatory engagement. We have worked closely with regulators across Europe to help shape the next generation of digital finance. The journey has not always been perfect. Like every fast-growing company, we have encountered gaps, made mistakes, and faced intense regulatory scrutiny. When that happened, we addressed the issues, accepted responsibility, learned from them, and strengthened our controls and governance. Today, OKX is proud to be the first company in the European Union to receive a MiCA licence, while also holding authorization for the broadest range of regulated crypto services under the MiCA framework. Compliance is not just about obtaining a licence. It is about building a culture where governance, risk management, transparency, and customer protection are embedded into every decision we make. We have invested significantly in building one of the industry’s strongest control frameworks and continue to work closely with independent external auditors to demonstrate the effectiveness of our governance and compliance systems. Today, European users can access EUR on-ramp and off-ramp services, zero-fee stablecoin payments through the Mastercard network, hundreds of crypto spot trading pairs, and a comprehensive suite of crypto, commodity, and equity derivatives. We have also launched an AI-native Agentic infrastructure that enables customers to interact with our platform through AI agents, with many more innovations already in development. Transparency has always been a core principle for us. We were the first major global platform to publish Proof of Reserves continuously for more than 40 consecutive months, helping establish what has since become an industry standard. Our Group financial statements are also audited by a Big Four accounting firm, reinforcing our commitment to financial governance and accountability. Today, hundreds of OKX employees across Europe are building products and services for millions of users. Our ambition goes far beyond becoming another crypto exchange. We are building the financial infrastructure for the next generation of digital finance—bringing together crypto, traditional assets, payments, AI, and on-chain financial services on a single regulated platform. This is only the beginning. Europe will continue to be one of the most important regions for OKX, and we remain committed to investing, innovating, and building here for decades to come.

vPay offshore accounts and physical cards have been getting field-tested IRL for a while now, and we’ll open them to the public as soon as we’re fully confident in the UX. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things. Virtual cards - live now. Physical cards - coming Q1 2026. The first two are similar to what everyone else on the market offers. The offshore accounts are not. which are coming this week. They allow unlimited spending, ATM withdrawals, and international SWIFT transfers, which very few “Neobanks” provide. Offshore accounts are coming this week. Self-Custody | We're not 100% non-custodial yet, as that is near impossible at the moment but it's something we're working towards. And we try to keep the users' self-custodial wallets in the loop as much as possible for maximum control. Those who have tried the vPay app know that almost every move asks for permission from their wallet, and we always encourage users to keep their funds in their non-custodial wallets until the very last moment, since our top-ups usually only take seconds to a minute to process. Fees | All of the card providers mentioned above either raised millions from VCs or in presales or have a huge org backing them. We have neither. vPay was self-funded and community-owned since day 1, launched under Virtuals Protocol Genesis V1 launch model, an objectively bad launch model and hugely unfavorable toward project teams. So even though vPay has been generating revenue and profitable from early on, we do not have the luxury of offering 0% fees yet, since they're mostly a marketing gimmick paid for by millions in VC money and not a sustainable business model for early-stage companies. What we're working towards instead, is true co-ownership of vPay and revenue-share with users. OmniBank vs NeoBank | I’m not a fan of the term “NeoBank.” It implies just a bank, but make it crypto. That’s not vPay. Our goals have always been clear: A) Anything and everything users need to do with their money and assets, both Web2 and Web3, all in one hub. Powered by a constellation of partner agents. The cards and the bank accounts are just the foundation. B) To eventually build independent financial rails for crypto and decouple from the chokehold of Visa/Mastercard. vLink is the first step toward this vision. This turned out to be a rather long tweet, but context matters. Questions and feedback welcome in replies or DMs. See you all with your vPay vCards very soon.

🌐 2026 Digital Asset Outlook | Dawn of the Institutional Era In our latest Genfinity interview with Grayscale Head of Product and Research Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, the discussion focused on how digital assets are entering a structurally different phase of adoption. A core theme was the weakening relevance of the four-year cycle narrative. Historically, crypto drawdowns were driven by macro shocks, not an internal clock. China’s banking restrictions in 2014. Global tightening and regulatory pressure in 2018. Liquidity reversal, inflation, and systemic deleveraging in 2022. Crypto traded like other risk assets because it is a risk asset. What has changed is the market foundation. ETF access has opened the advisory and wealth management channel. Institutional-grade custody exists. Regulatory clarity is improving rather than constricting. As a result, the conversation has shifted from whether digital assets belong in portfolios to how exposure should be constructed. Bitcoin is increasingly viewed as a macro asset and store of value within that framework. Infrastructure protocols such as Chainlink were highlighted for solving a fundamental constraint. Blockchains cannot access real-world data on their own. Chainlink provides that connectivity layer, with visible on-chain usage, interoperability across networks, and integration with traditional financial infrastructure. For institutions, that translates into picks-and-shovels exposure tied to real economic activity. Solana was discussed from a usage-first perspective. High throughput, low and predictable costs, strong developer activity, growing stablecoin flows, and real transaction volume. From Grayscale’s viewpoint, Solana’s relevance shows up in how people actually use the network and in the demand coming from retail, wealth, and institutional channels, including ETF and staking products. Another clear signal of maturity is the decline of tribalism. As access becomes standardized through ETFs, exposure management replaces ecosystem loyalty. Investors are no longer choosing a single chain. They are allocating across stores of value, infrastructure layers, and income-producing assets within one asset class. The outlook discussed was bullish, but not speculative. Improving regulation. Broader access. Institutional demand. Yield through staking. Tokenization and infrastructure moving from concept to execution. This interview was not about timing markets. It was about recognizing that digital assets are no longer operating outside the financial system. They are being integrated into it. The institutional era of digital assets is upon us.
