Trump continues to squeeze Zelensky. Trump says Russia is pounding Ukraine, and that he is not sure if Zelensky “wants to settle”. Trump is holding all the leverage and he is willing to use it. Either Zelensky agrees to peace, or Trump will let Putin steamroll Ukraine. Without US military aid, ammunition, air defenses, etc., Ukraine’s military will crumble rapidly. Zelensky will have no choice but to surrender and come to the table ready to settle a peace deal. But one thing is for certain, Trump is aware of Zelensky’s schemes, and Trump is not letting Zelensky drag this conflict out any longer, and milk the US for more money. Spoiler alert… yes he will. Zelensky will do exactly what he is told, because he does not have a choice. His security relies 100% on US funding. When Trump and Putin come to a deal, if Zelensky refuses, then the funding will be shut off, Ukraine will collapse, and Putin will take what he wants anyways. Zelensky has no say in the matter. He is a dead man walking.
