Residents of Kherson clutch a drone detector in the car, the screen flickering and bleeping like a cardiac monitor to reassure them that they are still alive. Kherson has lived through the horror of occupation and the brief euphoria of liberation and then this endless terror ever since, from Russian army positions just across the river shooting all day and all night at people in their homes and targeting them with explosives from small drones as they go to work and to hospital and to buy food. Kherson like all of Ukraine deserves its freedom, its dignity and to live its peaceful life once again. 📹 felicityspector/Instagram
