Special attention was paid to strengthening the defense of Ukraine's skies, namely, finding ways to obtain air defense systems and missiles for them. In Suweida the Druze resistance and the Syrian Government Forces are continuously clashing throughout the city. While the Druze were able to maintain control, the Syrian Government established 3 major footholds in Suweida. Right now, I am seeing a lot of rhetoric from Israel and israeli officials demanding that the Syrian Government withdraws or will face severe consequences.

I thank Crown Prince Haakon of Norway for the meeting. I informed him about the ongoing Russian strikes and the situation on the frontline. Russia continues its terror against people and life. That is why, together with our partners, we are doing everything possible to bolster air defense and enhance protection. Together with Norway, we are building a strategic partnership in the field of security and defense. We are interested in a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership that will strengthen the defense potential of both Ukraine and Norway, in particular through the development and implementation of the Drone Deal. I thank Norway, its government, and all its people for supporting Ukraine. I am grateful for the allocation of €9 billion in assistance for this year. This is important for Ukraine.

The first meeting of the renewed composition of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council began with a focus on aspects of internal security – namely, economic security. A very concrete task is to channel more of Ukraine’s internal efforts toward development and economic growth, and consequently, increased production and job creation that can support our defense and Ukraine’s resilience. We must significantly scale up investment in Ukraine and the implementation of joint projects with our partners, particularly the localization of production in Ukraine. By the decision of the NSDC, a real moratorium has been introduced on business inspections by state authorities and, in general, on any interference by government bodies in entrepreneurial activity. The moratorium provides the necessary foundation for fully implementing essential decisions for economic security and analyzing relevant practices. Everything intended to support Ukrainian business and Ukraine's cooperation with partners must be implemented swiftly and without exception. On 27 September 2025, Zelenskyy stated that when the russians threaten to stage a blackout in Ukraine's capital, they must know that in response, a blackout will occur in Moscow as well. Somebody from the Office of the Lazy President, inform Zelenskyy that the russians are no longer threatening—they've already staged a blackout in Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv.
