Zelenskyy: "When they, for example say that Ukraine is almost destroyed, that our soldiers run away, that they are not heroes, that the president is a dictator, what is the reaction? It's not about me. The reaction is, where is the friendship between Ukraine and the US?"

Zelensky says he needs nuclear weapons or Nato membership to keep Russia from attacking the west. Would you support giving nuclear weapons back to Ukraine?

I don’t want to hear any Republicans talk about “freedom” unless they have the guts to call out Trump for the lies that he is telling about Putin and Ukraine. It was Russia that started the war, not Ukraine. Putin is the dictator, not Zelensky.

🇬🇧 Tough Ukranian patriots, that vouched to fight and die for Ukraine … are almost always not in Ukraine anymore. The further away from the front they are, the bigger their patriotism is. The love for the war … is especially high from Britain.

❗️Today it is primarily Ukraine that is responding to the Russians’ terror, President Zelenskyy said. He recalled that after the September 11 attacks NATO invoked Article 5 for the first time, and the world united against terrorism. “Evil must be punished. Today it is primarily Ukraine that is responding to the Russians — to their terror, strikes, occupation and killings. And this is a just response,” he stressed. Zelenskyy thanked partners for their support, but asked whether the world’s current reaction is sufficient and comparable to the level of unity that existed 25 years ago. “Ukraine is not in NATO. Not yet. Because that, it seems to me, is a very important security guarantee for our state,” the president said at the annual YES meeting organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

❗️«Not helping Ukraine is a huge risk for Europe» — Zelenskyy «I don’t think this is something that should be tested. If Ukraine is not helped, there is a risk that it may not hold out, and then Russia will move further. The price of such a mistake is very high — for Europe and for any state.» The President also noted that Ukraine is defending not only itself, but also European values.

President Zelenskyy: Ukraine received another US variant of minerals deal earlier, pointing out that this is an absolutely different document. "There are a lot of things that were not mentioned, and also some things appeared that, let's say, the parties had rejected before," he said. The President also stated that Ukraine will not recognize all the previous US military aid as debt.

Ukraine is the new Iraq. Our country is run by stupid warmongers that are so clueless and disconnected with what the American people want that they are literally leading us into World War 3. That’s why I’m introducing a resolution to find out exactly where OUR money is going.

❗️Either Ukraine is in the Alliance, or the Alliance is in Ukraine — Zelenskyy spoke about two options until Ukraine joins NATO The President emphasized that Ukraine needs real security guarantees, not ones like the Budapest Memorandum, which ultimately became an "exchange for paper."

Rieckhoff: He's losing his women and children. His cities are being bombed, and we're talking about his clothes? It was victim shaming, which is what trump has been doing to Zelenskyy and Ukraine since before he got elected. It's unacceptable. It's inappropriate. And it's also undermining not just Ukraine but our own national security. We are now aligned with the bad guys. Russia is the bad guy, Ukraine is the good guy. And when we continue to attack Ukraine and defend Russia, that puts us in line with the bad guys, which is not where America wants to be.

"If Putin wins in Ukraine, there is real risk that his aggression will not end there. Our support is not charity. It is an investment in our security," - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. "The only way to reach a just and lasting solution is to convince President Putin that they will not win on the battlefield," Jens Stoltenberg continued. "And the only way to ensure that President Putin realises that he is not winning on the battlefield is to continue to support Ukraine."

❗️Zelenskyy: If Russia strikes us with drones and missiles, we will do the same. The question is when we will be able to increase the scale. Ukraine is responding to the enemy’s massive attacks, the President stated. Our soldiers are striking oil refineries and other targets that they consider legitimate military objectives.

Zelensky: Russia is the aggressor - not Ukraine. We want the US not to search for balance in this words. I understand that President Trump’s looking for an approach [to end the war]. But you shouldn't say that Ukraine started a war. It's painful for our people to hear. 1/

I was proud to host President Zelenskyy at the White House where I reaffirmed that the United States’ support for Ukraine is unshakeable. Congress must pass supplemental funding for Ukraine. This is about freedom for Ukraine – and freedom everywhere.
