Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir once again dusts off the old Kashmir tape, calling it Pakistan’s “jugular vein,” while Balochistan is halfway out the door, the TTP is running a parallel government in some districts in KP, and the Afghan Taliban are treating Pakistani soldiers like target practice. But sure, Kashmir is the priority. Then he generously reminds his ham-vatans of the two-nation theory, the genius idea that Muslims and Hindus are two separate nations who can’t coexist, as if Muslims can coexist among themselves. Let’s look at what their grand Islamic unity has paid off: • Bengalis walked out in 1971 • Punjabis are kidnapping Baloch • Baloch are blowing up Punjabi convoys • Sunnis are slaughtering Shi’ites • Together they are lynching Ahmadis • And every now and then, the Pakistan Army gets a fresh beating from their “Good Taliban” brothers That’s your “one Ummah,” united in killing each other and then ganging up together on Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Jews. But of course, the two-nation theory is sacred. So sacred that it disintegrated before it could even finish puberty. The same Army Chief then goes on to urge his countrymen to teach their children about the sacrifices made to create Pakistan. He should probably also have mentioned how 93,000 of Pakistani soldiers surrendered in 1971, while the Pakistan Army was still broadcasting victory slogans back home. If delusion had a uniform, it would be olive green with four stars.

For a thousand years, when nobody was coming to help the British people, the British people helped each other. 🇬🇧 That has always been our answer. Long before any state asked it of us. Long before any law required it. We were already looking after each other. 🙏 In the year 900, every Anglo-Saxon man was bound by oath to nine of his neighbours. If one was wronged, the other nine were responsible for putting it right. ⚖️ The whole village answerable for each other. It wasn't charity. It wasn't kindness. It was the law. By the 1300s, every English parish kept what they called a poor box. 🍞 Bread for the family who couldn't farm. Wool for the widow who couldn't weave. Coin for the orphan with no one. The state didn't tell them to. The state didn't even exist yet. They just did it. In the 1400s, the wealthy started leaving their fortunes in their wills. Not to their children. Not to the church. To strangers. 🏛️ To houses where elderly neighbours could live for the rest of their lives. Some of those almshouses, founded six hundred years ago, are still housing British people today. In the 1700s, the working men came together. They didn't own land. They didn't have fortunes. They had a few pennies a week. So they pooled them. They called themselves Friendly Societies. ⏳ If a member fell sick, his family was fed. If a member died, his children were buried with dignity. If a member was injured, the doctor's bill was paid. By the 1870s, half the working men of Britain belonged to one. Long before there was a welfare state, the British working class had built one for themselves. Penny by penny. 🪙 In 1824, William Hillary watched a ship break up off the Isle of Man. He could hear the sailors calling for help. Nobody was coming for them. No navy. No coastguard. No state. ⛵ So Hillary asked the British people to be the ones who came. Volunteers. Donations. Lifeboats. Two centuries later, the RNLI has saved more than 146,000 lives. Still volunteer-run. Still funded by donations. Still no state involvement. 🌊 In 1862, half a million Lancashire mill workers were out of work. A naval blockade had cut off the slave-grown cotton from America. Their families were starving. Someone offered them slave-grown cotton from elsewhere. Just to keep working. They voted on it. In Manchester's Free Trade Hall. They voted no. They chose hunger. For people they would never meet. For people enslaved on the other side of an ocean. 💔 In 1911, a chancellor named Lloyd George stood up in Parliament. He had a plan. Workers would pay a few pennies a week. Their employers would pay too. And in return, when a worker fell sick, his family would be fed. The doctor's bill would be paid. He didn't invent the idea. He copied it. From the Friendly Societies the British working class had been running themselves for two hundred years. Thirty-seven years later, a Welsh miner's son named Aneurin Bevan made it national. 🏥 They called it the National Health Service. One of the proudest achievements in British history. And it was built on the model the Friendly Societies had been running for two hundred years before it. British working people had already invented it. The state finally caught up. The state didn't give us this. We gave it to ourselves. ✊ 🙏🇬🇧 Be part of us. Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

A hungry fox had a squirrel trapped with nowhere to run. It looked like the chase was over. But just as the fox got close enough to attack, it suddenly stopped. The squirrel was pregnant, and instead of going after her, the fox backed away and curled up nearby in the freezing cold. A girl who had been watching couldn’t believe what she had just seen. Feeling sorry for the hungry fox, she offered it a piece of bread. The fox gently took it from her hand and then surprised her even more by following her all the way home. She went inside and brought out some chicken, which the fox quickly ate before disappearing. The next day, it came back. But this time, it had something in its mouth — an old, worn-out soccer ball. The fox dropped the ball near the girl and stood there watching her, almost as if it had brought her a gift. From that day on, the fox became a regular visitor. The girl left food out for it, and over time, the skinny little fox grew healthier and stronger. Then one day, it showed up with another fox. She was covered in scars and looked like she’d had a rough life in the wild. The two were incredibly close, always resting together and gently grooming each other. The girl welcomed them both and continued looking after them. Then one morning, she noticed something moving beneath her backyard deck. Tiny fox pups began popping their heads out one after another. The foxes had chosen her yard as the place where they felt safe enough to raise their babies. So the girl decided to make the backyard even more comfortable for the new family. The hungry fox she once met on a freezing day had finally found a place where it felt safe, cared for, and welcome. If this story touched your heart, leave a like. ❤️

Extremely jealous woman gets physical in front of police because her boyfriend moved on to another. Police were dispatched to assist with a volatile domestic dispute between an on-and-off couple of seven years. The two shared children together, but their living situation had deteriorated. After moving out two months prior, this woman had moved back into the home just three days prior to this event. She helped get the electric utilities turned back on in an attempt to reconcile their relationship. However, things came to a head as an argument erupted. She claimed he had abandoned his responsibilities to watch their child so he could stay out all night with another woman. This was the same woman connected to a prior domestic violence incident that had previously landed him behind bars. The argument escalated to the point where he demanded she leave. When officers arrived on scene simply to keep the peace while she gathered her belongings and loading them into her car. The remaining property was on the porch. But instead of loading her car and walking away, years of heartbreak and anger boiled over in seconds. Ignoring explicit police commands to back up and step away from the porch stoop, she squared up to her ex and lunged to attack him directly in front of the cops. She was instantly grabbed and placed in handcuffs while resisting the whole way. The arresting officer had to break the harsh reality to her: while heartbroken and grieving a toxic dynamic, she ended up playing right into his hands. As she was being lead to her squad car she noticed her now ex boyfriend smiling about he arrest. The incident wrapped with official bookings for domestic battery and resisting arrest, serving as a brutal reminder of why letting emotions dictate actions around law enforcement will cost you and in the case it cost her freedom.

This is the part of the interview where they ask Lena about the kind of relationship she has with Miu and what it’s like working with her. 🦋: I feel happy and proud proud of myself and also of her. We kind of held hands and worked on this project together. 🦋: We’re a pair who always communicate, like asking each other how we feel. If there’s anything we need to adjust or anything that makes us comfortable or uncomfortable, we always share it. And that makes working together feel easy and comfortable. MC: But when two women work together like this, isn’t there sometimes a bit of tension or fussiness? 🦋: I mean, people might think that it’s a “women thing,” right? Maybe there are small, picky moments sometimes. But like I said, we’re a pair that always talks things out. If something makes me uncomfortable, she tells me; if something bothers her, I tell her. We’re open with each other. MC: Mm, so you can really share things. 🦋: Yes, it’s like two people who feel very comfortable with each other to the point where we’re not afraid of what the other person might think about what we say regarding work. 🦋: Because we know we have to keep working together, hand in hand. And since we’ve known each other for a long time, we don’t want this relationship to be damaged or broken. MC: When there’s something you want to say, do you ever hesitate like “Should I say it or not?” 🦋: Well, I’m an introvert, so I’m not very open. Sometimes I do think, “What will she think if I say this?” 🦋: But in the end, I feel like it’s best to say it. It’s better to express it. MC: And she’s okay with that? 🦋: The male lead is teasing again. 👩🏻🗣️: Voices in the background, not clearly understood. 🦋: (She complains.) MC: So she’s okay with this kind of openness? 🦋: Yes, she is. She’s actually more expressive than me she says whatever she thinks right away. I tend to hold things in a bit before speaking. So we had to find a middle ground in how we communicate. And once we got past the rough patch… 🦋: …it felt like things really worked, and our teamwork became very smooth. MC: When she speaks so directly, are you ever surprised? 🦋: No, not really. I understand what kind of person she is. I try to adjust myself to the person I’m acting with. Since I have to work with her, I need to understand her personality who she is so we can work together without clashing. #Lalinalena #ลีน่าลลินา #ลีน่าหมิว #LenaMiu
