Its awkward indeed but I don't think it should be considered as bad? She just doesn't suit this kind of acting. She looks chic and tomboy so crying like a kid doesn't fit her facial expression. Crying alone, blank stares with tears flowing down in silence might looks better

I am watching this drama for the plot but I will be honest and say I have said to myself since the 1st episode that the acting in this show is very effort full. Take the 2nd lady’s head maid scene when she is accused of cheating the books. It was horrendous acting 😩😩

I didn’t watch this ep yet. So i don’t have any right to Judge this scene. But it seems like she is trying heard to cry like me when I pretend to cry infront of my parent while fighting with my siblings 😅

Been following her dramas since Word of Honor and loved her acting in Better Days, but it does feel like she's a bit rusty in some scenes here. Might be the director too cuz the Nanny/Governess made me laugh I could not take her evil seriously.

when secondary characters shows better acting range than the ML/FL, I know this drama deserved better. I paused while I'm currently watching Against The Current drama.

There's a reason why I don't really go for anything with Xu Kai and this beautiful lady over here, these two USED to know how to act, they did! But that was the good old olden days 😭😭
