Took 2 months off of the gym and as you can see it doesn’t look like it at all. That is because how you look is MAJORLY impacted by what you eat. In the 2 months off, I tracked my meals everyday and made sure to stay active by taking over 12,000 steps per day. I did feel noticeably smaller but I wasn’t concerned because my body is known to bounce back pretty damn fast when I lock in. And that takes us to, ‘Chapter 2026. The Lock In.’ This year in my off season I plan to pack on an OD amount of size. I say size instead of muscle because in putting on size, I’m guaranteed to pack on body fat as well. Not as much as I would if I ate whatever I wanted and claimed I was “dirty bulking.” I spent way too much time getting lean last year to lose it all recklessly. How I’m going to do it is simple and straight forward. 1. Track my macros. 2. Prioritize protein and increase calories gradually by increasing my carb intake and keeping fat at a moderate level. 3. Training on a 5 day split. 4. Keeping light cardio a part of my routine. 5. Focusing on my recovery. That’s it. There’s no secret sauce or formula. It’s simply doing what you’re supposed to do consistently and making it a non negotiable habit. Once you start to see progress it becomes addicting and you begin to love the process. If you wait until you “get there” you’re going to miss out on the real fun and journey. I’m going to be documenting the entire year with the core of the content I produce and release be to educate you guys on what I am doing in fun creative ways. I don’t want this to be a year of, “watch me do it.” I’d rather it be a, “here, do it with me.” Which is why all my workout plans and meal guides are available for download on my website. Simply pick a program that fits your goals, download, follow along and repeat. And if you want to take it a step further and personally get trained by me 1-on-1, bet on yourself and Apply for coaching while on the site. You know you’re going to upgrade to a new phone this year. HERMES AGENT VS OPENCLAW. a local ai onboarding flow test. a 3.9gb bonsai served on localhost, both agents upstream and latest, i point each one at the endpoint and watch which one even finds it. > hermes opens a provider menu, thirty plus options, local servers sitting right there next to the cloud ones, i hand it 127.0.0.1:8899, it verifies the endpoint, one model visible, auto-detects the model by name, bonsai-27b-q1_0, reads the context length straight off the server, saves it, and starts reasoning and firing real tool calls on my local model. no key. no friction. > openclaw has no menu. it goes hunting for a codex login, an openai key, finds none because there are none, prints no models available three times, defaults to openai/gpt-5.5, a cloud model it cannot reach, and dead ends on run auth login --provider openai. read that back. it asked me for an openai key. to run a model already running on my own machine. it never once looked at localhost. to be fair, openclaw can run local if you hand wire endpoint yourself. what it will not do is find the model already sitting on your box. hermes agent found it in one line. now the part i owe you. the auto-detect that just won, the model name read, the .gguf strip, the context length probe off the server, that is my code, it is in hermes agent main right now, authorship preserved, #2051 and #4218. the wizard fix that stops an agent from silently routing you to someone else's creds, the exact trap openclaw still falls into, mine too, #4210. i contribute to hermes agent, i told you that going in. one agent is built to talk to whatever you are running, the other is built to talk to a cloud api, so one found my model and ran it and the other asked me to log into openai. onboarding flow of both, mapped, below.

Nvidia has just announced Alpamayo 2 Super, an open 34 billion parameter reasoning vision-language-action model designed to accelerate the development of autonomous vehicles. This new model combines the NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Super reasoning model with a 2 billion parameter diffusion-based action expert model, and is post trained with reinforcement learning. The model can return multiple outputs: future trajectory plans, reasoning traces, grounded answers to questions about the scenes, and auto label generation. The model weights are now available for anyone to download on Hugging Face, and the inference code has been posted to GitHub. Distilled models can be deployed commercially without any further permission from Nvidia, and model outputs carry no license conditions. Automakers can distill down a compact version of this model that can run on the Nvidia computer in the car. Major kudos to Nvidia and Jensen Huang for advancing the state of the industry by releasing this as an open model with permissive licensing. Jensen isn't just paying lip service to the idea of open models, Nvidia is actually contributing to the ecosystem — and it's great for their business, because it helps sell more Thor computers that go in the car. Anyone can go download the model and play with it. If you do, let me know what you think. Personally I think it's so cool that we have open weights models that are this advanced, for anyone to download.

Interesting times in the maps space, and its exciting there is so much buzz - maps are awesome :) My parents Rakesh and Rashmi Verma pioneered digital mapping in India in 1995, returning from the US after a successful career there with the passion and desire to do something unique for India. And it’s been 20 years for me personally in the mapping space, since I was a 19-year old Stanford engineering undergraduate student and got involved in starting India’s first interactive mapping portal, I realise MapmyIndia is a relatively lesser known company amidst more consumer facing global and local players, so it would be great if this post can be amplified, so that more people can be made aware 🙏 Warm regards, Rohan Verma CEO & ED, MapmyIndia *** A few thoughts on maps: 1) Accuracy and quality of maps is critical. I’d caution folks to check out quality and reliability of maps by browsing those maps in areas familiar to them, and if they notice errors in them, in terms of incorrect places marked wrongly on the map, it should serve as a reminder not to rely on such maps. I’ve personally looked at the maps of various global and local players, and find so many inaccuracies, which confirms my belief that the difficult art and science of map-making is not as easy and people may imagine or claim. 2) What’s exciting about Mappls MapmyIndia, as a home-grown indigenous deep tech digital products and platforms company, is that not just did we pioneer digital mapping in India since 1995, when there were no other digital maps available for the country, but back then, and even now, we’ve always built the most cutting-edge tech to build the most capable maps and empower our customers, users and developers with the most comprehensive and advanced solutions. My fox shooting garden defending AI robot is finally done and WORKING! 🤩 (Don’t worry it only shoots 💦 water) After months of slowly moving forward with each part I finished the last step to train a TensorFlow model on the footage of the 🦊 fox I collected hours of footage 📹 with the fox roaming around my garden, from this I labeled around 2000 images with the fox by hand ✋ Honestly, I was quite skeptical training the model was actually gonna work, maybe this was partly the reason I avoided working on this until the very end. If I couldn’t train a model to detect the fox, this whole robot would never be able to function properly. On the flipside though, with no previous experience in hardware or electronics there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to end up labeling thousands of images, training a TensorFlow model, only to fail on building the hardware. As I started building, I realized that mixing hardware and software adds quite another dimension to debugging things. At times I wasted hours debugging code in my IDE, only to realize the issue was somewhere in the electronics. Furthermore, combining this side project with a full time job and a young family, is not always easy. It can be quite frustrating, to know you only need 4 hours of concentrated effort for a small task, having to spread it out across a week of 20min increments. Then, a few months into the build I noticed the fox had stopped coming to my garden, in fact one day, I recorded her walking with 3 cute little 🐶 pups, and the next day I saw her moving out of my garden completely. Did she know I was building a robot? I had this strange mix of feelings, happy my garden was safe from poop and digging, happy she was safe with her pups, but how was I gonna finish this project if my robot had no fox to detect? For sure they would be back next year, I figured I could postpone the whole thing until next winter, but I also knew it was gonna be much harder to pick up momentum if I did let it sit there for six months. So I decided to keep working, hoping the fox would reappear,.. but she never did. As I finished labeling the footage and started training my model, I could finally see the mAP results, quantifying the precision of my object detection model. It was measuring at 78% across different metrics on detecting my fox. I quickly ran the model on some of the video footage I got from my fox. Inference speed took a hit, but it did a near perfect job detecting the fox, even when she was deep down in the grass or wizzing past in a motion blur. It took me by surprise how well it worked. With the default model I had to drop my confidence threshold way down to 15%, to recognize the fox as 🦜“bird” in one or two frames, with my custom model it followed the fox all the way down to the back of the garden! Still this didn’t solve the issue of there being no actual fox in my garden and how was I gonna wrap this project in a short timeframe. I played with the idea of putting a fox toy 🧸 on an RC 🚗 car, or borrowing a dog to run around the garden to test. Friends suggested I run around the garden in a fox costume.. what a ridiculous idea. I wasn’t really feeling the idea of running around the garden in a floppy cloth fox 🎭 costume, but had a look anyway. I came across these self inflating costumes. This actually could be perfect. Since it’s inflated, it would hold its shape super well, making it much easier to label, train and be recognized by my robot. So I got the costume and shot a time lapse of myself as a fox walking around the garden. I labeled it to around 600 images. Ran the model training again and got a mAP result of 82%. This was even better than my real fox! At this point I knew this was gonna work. So here’s the final 🎥 video, just having some fun with it. I’ll update here whenever the real fox does come back. On a final note, I’m looking for (remote) jobs in these fields of AI now: - object detection - visual generative AI - 3D (nerfs + gaussian splats) So if you know anything let me know! Model 3/Y Achilles’ Heel – The Maintenance Nobody Expects Over the past multiple months, we’ve been analysing one of the most overlooked causes of Model 3/Y battery overheating, compressor failures, and HVAC-related powertrain issues. Most people assume the problem starts with the compressor, software, or the heat pump itself. It doesn’t. We’ve also seen many third-party workshops incorrectly servicing heat pump systems. Instead of properly evacuating the refrigerant and compressor oil by opening the Octovalve, they recover only part of the system and then add around 1,000 g of new refrigerant on top of the 500 g still trapped inside - and statement were “ah it was only missing gas issue”. The result is an overcharged system that can destroy HVAC components. What many don’t realise is that HVAC is one of the most critical systems in an EV. Just 30 seconds of insufficient cooling can overheat components such as the OBC (for example Kia ICCU), damage an Audi e-tron drive unit and inverter, or, in the worst case, overheat the battery pack. A single severe overheating event can permanently and irreversibly damage battery cells. What surprised us most was that, on the Model 3/Y, the root cause often isn’t a faulty HVAC component or software. It’s the radiator design. The front heat exchangers compartement act like a road vacuum cleaner, trapping dirt so deeply inside the honeycomb that airflow is dramatically reduced. Cooling performance gradually degrades until it starts triggering failures across the entire powertrain. Owners often keep replacing the consequences while never finding the real cause. This is something what reduce the range-soh and increases Wh/km and mostly known situation “hey i drove my tesla from 100% to 0% and it has only 60kWh, not 74kWh” Recommendation on HVAC servises is to contact NRF (Nederlandse Radiateuren Fabriek) experts and take the full training session how to properly service it. (we will too) Our recommendation for every Tesla Model 3/Y owner: * Visit highly skilled worksop to Clean the radiator pack using a dedicated chemical cleaner to dissolve embedded dirt. * Flush thoroughly with low-pressure water (such as at a self-service car wash). * This is not a simple DIY job. Proper access requires partial disassembly and typically takes 2–4 working hours. * Every 80000-120000km Protect your battery. Protect your HVAC. Here’s my written & video review of the new 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance after driving it for a week. This is the best-value new Tesla you can buy. Crazy performance, no real drawbacks, and all for just $57,490. Let’s dive in. Price: I haven’t seen many others mention this: every option on the Model Y Performance is included at no extra cost in the US (except FSD). So if you spec a Model Y Premium AWD with an upgraded paint color, tow package, white interior, and upgraded 20" wheels, a fully loaded Model Y Premium AWD ends up only about $2,500 less expensive than a fully loaded Model Y Performance. Ride Quality: I thought I might feel worse ride quality vs my Premium AWD Model Y with 20" wheels, but I struggled to find any real difference, despite the larger 21" wheels, firmer suspension setting, and 0.6" lower ride height on the Performance trim. A true testament to Tesla's engineering magic on this thing. Exterior Design: Unlike the previous Model Y Performance, Tesla made some exterior design tweaks with a new front and rear fascia to spice things up a bit. The result, in my opinion, is the best-looking Model Y trim you can buy. It definitely has a more aggressive presence in person, even if it's subtle. The carbon-fiber spoiler boosts high-speed stability and cuts aerodynamic drag by 10%. The new 21’’ Arachnid 2.0 wheels look fantastic in person, one of my favorite designs ever from Tesla. Staggered wheel and tire fitment provides better grip and steering. The beefier 275mm rear tires (255mm in the front) give the vehicle a better stance from behind. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): For the first time on a Model Y in North America, you can now plug in anything you want to the exterior charge port with an adapter, even a campsite! It provides up to 2.4 kW of power (120V at 20A) from two household outlets. It's a great feature. Interior: It’s what you know and love, but with a few changes that elevate the ownership experience. New with the Performance is a larger 16" center screen (vs. 15.4" on non-Performance models), with thinner bezels and higher resolution. It’s not a huge difference on paper, but you definitely notice it in daily use. The carbon-fiber décor on the door cards and dash is a nice touch, though I would like to see it extended to the center console. The new performance seats are the best seats of any Tesla I've ever experienced. While they retain aggressive bolstering in the torso area, the bottom seat cushion has less aggressive bolstering than on the Model 3 Performance seats, making it easier to get in and out. It also doesn’t squeeze your thighs too tightly. The powered thigh extenders add comfort on longer drives, especially for taller people who want extra support. And of course, they’re heated and ventilated. The headrests also feel more comfortable than the ones in my Model Y. I want these seats. Unlike the old Model Y Performance, the new one has no Track Mode. Why? Because nobody used it lol. No point in putting engineering resources into something people won’t use. The refreshed Model 3 Performance still has it, though. Cabin Quietness: Despite the thinner-profile tires, there is no noticeable difference vs my Premium Model Y. Decibel reading results at highway speeds were visually the same compared to my 2026 Model Y Premium (65-66). Driving Impressions: It’s amazing. Sharp, precise, and agile. The vehicle feels stable at all times. Acceleration is blistering (3.3s 0–60 mph), with plenty of punch even at higher speeds. The tires offer good grip, and cornering is fantastic for an SUV. The suspension setup is great. More steering wheel feedback would be nice, though. Cruising around traffic is a joy. The brakes are much improved over the previous Model Y Performance and are far better suited for spirited driving. There are three acceleration modes: Chill, Standard, and Insane. Just stay in Insane. You’d be insane not to lol. The car also lets you switch between two ride and handling modes: Standard and Sport. The difference isn’t huge, but Standard is better if you’ve got passengers. FSD: I unfortunately wasn’t able to get FSD V14 on this car. It had V13.2.9, so I didn’t use it much. But in the little time I did, it was smooth and comfortable. It didn’t bother me because V14 will perform just as well here as it does on my 2026 Model Y Premium AWD. Conclusion: You won’t find another new SUV today that offers this level of performance for the price. Back in 2022, when Tesla couldn’t build Model Ys fast enough, a fully loaded Model Y Performance cost over $90,440. Today, the refreshed and far more capable 2026 Model Y Performance is just $57,490 fully loaded, and you can simply subscribe to FSD for $99/month. The 2026 Model Y Performance delivers utility, great performance, comfort, tech, self-driving and everything else people love about the Model Y. It’s a no-brainer purchase. I want one badly, but I'll need to show restraint, as I’m saving up for a house lol.
