It's true the Muslims occupied the holiest site in Judaism and built their dome over Solomon's Temple. What would Muslims think if a power occupied Mecca, destroyed the Kaaba and built a Christian cathedral, Buddhist or Hindu temple there, and after being driven out claimed eternal ownership of Mecca. There is NO reason for Jerusalem and a fortiori Israel to belong to Arabs. Israel belongs to its indigenous people: The judeans/jews.
