So Hasan saw him appearing on their platforms and thought wow this is a cool epic based pseudo-radical Israel critic, why else would Sam and Amy have him on constantly and promote him? But as Hasan also correctly said, DM and MR are more prone to falling for pseudo-radical J-Street genocidal Zionists like Matt Duss, who devise their rhetoric precisely to appeal to that audience. But that's not Hasan and that's not his audience, they are more aware than that, they can see through that bullshit, which is of course why they have responded they way they did. And again this is the standard he himself set, like during the conversation with Noah Samsen. And it's the right standard. It's actually a good thing that his own audience is keeping him to it. It takes a big man to admit he was wrong. Ryan McBeth just published an incredible video titled “I Was Wrong About Israel.” I’ll link the full piece below, which I highly recommend watching. But this part was my favorite: "You know, we talk about Israel like it's this abstract news story, but when you're standing there looking at 2,000-year-old coins, shaking hands with Muslims who are just trying to live, you realize this isn't an academic debate.
