Zizou was incredible at Euro '96 ✨

He had a big car accident before the Euro and he wasn't in the best psychological state. His competition wasn't the best but as he's a genius it's still above many players.

My memory is he DIDNT impress in 1996. There was a lot of hype about him pre Euros. Juve had just signed him & back then(no youtube etc) everyone was looking forward to seeing Juves new superstar. And he didnt set the Euros alight. He wasnt gr8. Highlight reels can be deceptive.

He wasn't at all. #Juventus Former owner Gianni Agnelli was making fun of his Management because they signed him few monthes before

No he wasn’t. Had a car accident few weeks before and was far from his top level. He’s been able to show some skills though.

He was not very impressive. He had some moments. The best French player was in 96 was Djorkaef.
