“In contravention to Judge Krupp’s preservation order, DA Morrissey’s Office gave the go ahead to Brian Albert and Brian Higgins to destroy or dispose of their phones.” ——Attorney David Yannetti, per the federal investigation Judge Krupp’s preservation order was issued back before the Fall of 2022, before #KarenRead’s case was transferred to Norfolk Superior Court. Preservation requests were subsequently re-examined and court orders reissued by judge Beverly Cannone upon Read’s June 2022 indictment and transfer to Superior Court. Presumably this means that the federal evidence shows that DA Michael Morrissey gave “witnesses” Brian Albert and Brian Higgins the go ahead to destroy evidence—their phones, back before Karen’s case moved over to superior court and judge Beverly Cannone ruled on the previously court-ordered preservation requests. Likely sometime in the Summer/Fall of 2022. This would also align with the fact that the Commonwealth refused to turn over the original Canton Police Department report to Karen Read’s defense counsel until October of 2022—over 8 months after she was arrested, at which point they’d surreptitiously altered the report in an effort to make Karen look more guilty. Notably, however, they also changed Brian Albert and Brian Higgins’ phone numbers on this altered report. This suggests that the timeframe when DA Michael Morrissey presumably gave both Brians the go ahead to destroy/dispose of their phones was sometime before October 2022, when this now altered version of the CPD report was finally produced to the defense. Why does this matter? On August 25, 2023, DA Morrissey put out a video statement personally vouching for the credibility of these same witnesses—Brian Albert and Brian Higgins. This is incredibly problematic for DA Morrissey. The mere fact that he apparently told “witnesses” they could destroy their phones is hard to overcome. How can DA Morrissey feign ignorance of the conspiracy to coverup Officer #JohnOKeefe’s murder after he himself gave “witnesses” permission to destroy their phones, or evidence? This fact alone makes him COMPLICIT. But beyond complicity, the fact that Morrissey then went on to make his exceedingly problematic video statement in August 2023 where he personally vouched for the credibility of these same “witnesses” thereby makes him a co-conspirator in the coverup of Officer O’Keefe’s murder AND in the framing of innocent woman Karen Read. What possible explanation could he offer for such actions and conduct? There’s no innocent explanation. His video statement, removed of this backstory, was already outrageous and arguably violative of Rules 3.6 and 3.8 of Professional Conduct in addition to being violative of Karen Read’s constitutional rights. Additionally, this video statement appeared to be an active effort to taint the jury pool. Why else would he send it out to every possible news and media outlet? This fact, and this fact alone, from the evidence produced by the federal investigation, completely sinks this prosecution, and in fact, seems to suggest that DA Michael Morrissey actually knows who the REAL culprits in Officer O’Keefe’s murder are. His own “witnesses”! Why on earth else would he instruct them to destroy their phones, especially after the court ordered them to be preserved? THIS, consciousness of guilt evidence, is used by prosecutors, including by DA Michael Morrissey’s Office, all the time as incriminating evidence in criminal prosecutions. What does it say about DA Morrissey’s consciousness of guilt? At the very least it seems to expose his awareness of his office pursuing a wrongful prosecution. At worst it seems to show that he himself was/is complicit in the coverup. This is really damning evidence. How does DA Michael Morrissey’s Office overcome this? Seems like the final nail in their coffin. #FreeKarenRead #CantonCoverup #JusticeForJohnOKeefe #PoliceCorruption

This morning, I got on the Palle Velugu bus from Mangalagiri to Penumaka - not as a minister, but as someone who just wanted to listen. I sat with Divyang brothers and sisters. Some were heading to work, some to the market, and some were simply going about their day. As the bus moved, so did the conversations - quiet, honest and full of the kind of strength that doesn't announce itself. One conversation, though, stayed with me more than the rest. A young man, studying to become a special educator at JNTU, turned to me and said something I won't forget easily. He quoted Amartya Sen’s “Double Handicap” concept, telling me that persons with disabilities carry more financial burden than the general public just to live the same life. "This Divyanga Shakti policy doesn't just reduce that burden," he said. "It gives us the chance to contribute - to the state, to the country. That's what makes it meaningful." Here was a young man, navigating his own challenges every day, already training himself to serve others with disabilities, and he was thinking about nation-building. That kind of perspective is humbling. Divyanga Shakti isn't really about transportation. It's about a person being able to leave their house in the morning and not have to think twice about how they'll get there. It's dignity in something as ordinary as a commute, and as that young man from JNTU reminded me, it's also an investment in what our people can give back when given the chance. I'm grateful to Hon. PM Sri Narendra Modi ji, whose belief in a truly inclusive India has never wavered, and to Hon. CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu garu, who has worked hard to make that belief real on the ground - in villages, in towns, on routes like the one I travelled today. We have more to do. But today reminded me exactly why. #DivyangaShakti

The subway performer took out his $3.5 million violin and started to play... But no one stopped to listen. In 2007, Joshua Bell, one of the world's greatest musicians, engaged in a small social experiment: Just days after performing in front of a sold out audience at Boston's Symphony Hall, he put on a hat and walked into a Washington D.C. metro station during the morning commute. He stood just inside the entrance, held his instrument, a Stradivarius violin from 1713 estimated to be worth up to $3.5 million, and began to play. Of the 1,000+ commuters that passed the musician that morning, only a small handful stopped to listen to the beautiful music. He made around $50 in tips during the 40 minute performance of six legendary pieces. The story became an immediate viral sensation, with most pointing to it as a lamentation of our inability to stop and smell the roses (or listen to the music, as it were). But with everyone in a rush to go about their business, I think there's more to it than that... In my mind, there are a few lessons from the fascinating tale: 1. Presentation Matters The quality of something can easily be undermined by its outward appearance. A beautiful idea may not impact its readers if it is clouded by complex language. A gourmet meal may not taste as delicious if slapped into a plastic container. An impressive technology may not connect with its users if it sits behind an ugly UI/UX. 2. Context Matters The same performance in a different context might have an entirely different perceived value. We all need to find the context in which our value is fully appreciated and understood. 3. We Need to Slow Down In his 1998 Rice commencement speech, Kurt Vonnegut spoke this timeless wisdom: "When things are going sweetly and peacefully, please pause a moment, and then say out loud: 'If this isn't nice, what is?'" Life flies by. Remember to stop and appreciate the moments of sweetness. Force yourself to slow down now and then. 4. Always Tip Liberally When you watch or listen to a street performer, tip them liberally. The talent out in the world is abundant, and the fact that they are performing in these settings takes real guts and determination. It's a small gesture that makes the world a bit more beautiful. So, what do you think about this story: Would you have stopped to listen, or continued on your rushed commute? Would you have recognized the beauty in the performance? I'd like to think I would have stopped and listened, but sadly, I'm guessing I would have followed the crowd and rushed by. Something to think about... *** If you enjoyed this or learned something, share this post with others and follow me Sahil Bloom for more in future!

WHO IS THE ALEX MAFIA The ‘Alex mafia is a reference to a group of former activists from Alexandra township who have risen to positions of influence. Paul Mashatile, Mike Maile, Nkenke Kekana and Bridgman Sithole are at its core. Then they have a second tier of people like Lebogang Maile whose brother is Mike from the core group. Since 2004, the core group of Alex Mafia created various companies. One such example in 2005, Business Connexion group owned by Kekana and Sithole. Paul Mashatile's daughter joined the company as an employer and within 2 months this company and other companies in the group received tenders worth hundreds of millions from departments controlled by Paul Mashatile. An actual investment company with the core Alex Mafia as shareholders was formed in 2005. An entity within Gauteng government was created called GSSC, basically every big tender from all departments had to go via GSSC. Sithole was CEO, every tender from all government departments in Gauteng would have to go to GSSC. GSSC was FULLY controlled by the Alex Mafia. So basically every tender was given to themselves. Hundreds of millions if not BILLIONS was looted in this way. Service providers were doing personal work for Paul Mashatile, paying for his nephews and nieces university fees etc. Before Mashatile releases a statement denying this and calling me all sorts of names he must google it. He must still tell the nation what he did with the R2BILLION Alex rebuild funds. Every department Mashatile was in, were corruption , these four guys parts kept crossing parts. Edwin Sodi received tens of billions in tenders allegedly but nothing to show for from Paul Mashatile. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the looting by the powerful, fearful and very dangerous Alex Mafia. Allegedly many people who were in their were "put away" In 2023 the founding and fearful members of the Alex Mafia, Bridgman Sithole and Mike Maile (Lebogang Maile's brother) took News24 to court, they wanted to interdict News24 from calling them the Alex Mafia. They lost the case and the court said "it was an intimidatory abuse of court process" They had to pay Newz24 cost on a putative scale. Sadly the Alex Mafia still allegedly control Gauteng via Lebogang Maile and others. Now this very same Paul Mashatile who allegedly looted billions is using DA as a discord to create instability in the country. The DA did nothing wrong. Mashatile wants to know how can DA can be in the GNU. We South Africans want to know about all the looting shenanigans of Paul Mashatile since 2005. He suddenly woke up from the dead and go to media houses bad mounting the DA who did not steal anything. Remember Mashatile has already made a deal with Julius Malema and the EFF, remove DA from GNU and then remove Ramaphosa. We have been down this road before we cannot make the same Jacob Zuma style mistake. We cannot allow this lunatic, corrupt thug anywhere near the presidency.

Tony Romo's college coaches wanted to move him to tight end. Romo requested six months, committed to throwing every day, then completed 19 of 22 passes with three touchdowns in the spring game. "I struggled throughout the season. I wasn’t playing. I was just a backup. Coach called me in and asked me if I wanted to move to tight end.” "And so I said, I tell you what, coach, if you still feel the same way after spring football, then we can have the discussion again." "But let me go work at this and attack this and hopefully I can change your mind." "So, I made a commitment to every single day of my life. I was going to throw the football, study it, and do as much as I could to get as good as I can." "Up until that point, you're almost just living life and you're kind of, you're in football, but you're not in it. Like, you're not so immersed in it to absolutely get the best out of yourself." "And I feel like from that point, that's that year where it shifted where you if you asked anyone during that time, you're going to see me throwing the football quite a bit. You know, morning, noon, night." "I mean like during basketball, we go to play basketball during the day in the offseason and um in between you win three games, you lose the next, you got to sit out a game. I have a football there and I'm dropping back as fast as I can throwing the football on the side, you know?" "Then afterward, I'd go in and throw with a different buddy. You always had to find a buddy who was willing to... No one wants to be that guy every time. So it's like, hey, will you do this right now? I'll give you something, you know. So I had a lot of buddies who'd throw under the lights late at night outside." "Just a lot of people helped me along the way." "I wasn't very good and I needed to improve. And what happened to wrap up the story was basically 6 months later when I went through the spring game, I went like 19 for 22, for like three touchdowns." "I asked coach coming off the field, I said, "Do you mind if I stay at quarterback?" He goes, "Yeah, I think you can stay at quarterback."
