My Personal View on Religion and Atheism: I genuinely believe we are living in a simulation of some kind. The chances, in my mind are far more likely than not. I don't believe in any of the various religions, but I think that atheism is just as faith-based as any of the major religions and probably just as likely to be false. If you atheist and attacking religious people, you are a hypocrite. Something likely created us, but it's likely not the "god" that most people envision in religious texts. In fact we could all be our own god in that the universe we live in is centered around us, and everyone else is an NPC. It is also possible that no one is an NPC and we are in a Massive Multi-player simulation, or somewhere in between the two. I'm pretty certain that through rendering (or not), it will eventually be entirely possible to simulate an entire universe and that we will eventually do it if we don't end humanity first. If we can simulate a Universe at some point in the future then we are almost certainly living in a simulated Universe. People ask me why I don't fear death if I'm agnostic and don't believe in any of the major religions. The answer is simple: There are an infinite number of possibilities as to what happens when we die. 'Nothingness' is only 1 of those possibilities, and any intelligent life form would likely make whatever comes next pleasant, as the more intelligent an organism gets the more compassionate they usually get. I like my odds.

Vitamin D - a supplement most people are told is healthy to take. But what if I told you that what is in these capsules is NOTHING to do with what your body naturally produces? An irradiated chemical slop mix that is sold as a sun replacement... however they are not at all equivalent to the compouds that are released in the body. I personally do not believe that these Frankenstein substances are essential for the body to be healthy. Get outside, get your skin and eyes under some early morning rays and absorb as much daylight as you can. Because there are so many more benefits to the sun than just “Vitamin D”! These capsules will never be able to reaplce what the Sun gives us.

Leadership climate is set at the top. So, when President Trump calls for me to be killed and hanged, many people take that as license to call my office and say even worse. But what has been so heartening is that even more called in with positive feedback and encouragement. There are many here in Washington who want us to think that America is hopelessly divided. I refuse to accept that. There is more that unites us than divides us, any day of the week. And we can’t be intimidated out of advocating for the country we all love.

Robots are getting better and better, and the goal now is not to support human labor, as suggested in the video, but in the long term they will replace human labor. In a market economy, profit is the only thing that counts, whether you like to criticize that or not. The fact is, however, that robots will be cheaper than human labor and will therefore be preferred. Moreover, robots are getting better and better, they will work longer hours than humans, are less prone to errors, do not fall ill and do not need vacations. They are superior to human labor.
