As a long-time Regine fan, I’ve learned that one of the highest compliments she can give to a young singer is if she doesn’t hold back her vocal power during a duet. She trusts that the young singer can handle her vocal prowess so you will hear her full belt voice, not just her falsetto. She’s always gracious to those she sings with so she will only save her full voice to those who can keep up. Otherwise, you will hear her using her sweet vocals with modest belts. That’s why her performance with SB19 remains one of my favs. She brought her A-game, recognizing the vocal talent of the boys. And what a gorgeous musical performance it was 🥰 #RegineVelasquez #SB19 #OPM
