I wish that last part was intact in the finished movie. Judy sure is a pretty sleeper. ❤️

This deleted scene is very sad, I even cried the first time I saw it.

Jared Bush told me in November that he always loved the animation of Judy sleeping when I asked him if the Homesick Hopps ending is restored and remastered in the sequel, which is not.

They should've kept this in the film. It adds so much to Judy's character and it has that subtle, but emotional magic Disney was known for. Having Judy take in the harsh reality, but knowing that her parents still very much believe in her even she starts to doubt it.

And to think all this was cut most likely because they wanted to save runtime and make the movie shorter.

A million times better than the original scene. But I suppose the original scene fit the purpose of the narrative better than this one.

Not sure if it's a hot take but I think it was ok to delete it. I feel it's humiliating, even if it's for a few seconds. Needing to grab the tail of the animals beside her and being smushed by their butts...

I wish that Pop pop made it into the movie. I can imagine some really funny scenes with him
