Zoro easily deflected Kaido’s slashes but struggled with Gaban’s 💀

Gaban is the equivalent of a swordsman and Kaido isn’t. Possibly Haki infused and, where’s it’s part of Kaido’s ability. Something like that

Comparing a swordsman haki slashes to a minor devil fruit ability. Them kaido slashes are meant to clear out out the fodder.

i mean gabans haki is so powerful that it took down imu and he admired his powers and the other god valley remaining pirates and forced him to transform which luffy couldnt even touch him before gaban jumps in so we probably underestimated him before seeing him in action

People don’t understand the context of these separate situations. The Kaido fight was much more serious fight and if you go back and watch or read Wano you would know that Zoro was going all out just to keep up with Luffy.

Just a personal take on this, but Kaido’s wind slashes were just pure devil fruit wind slashes, and it was just 1. These are Haki infused slashing attacks, by an axe main, AND there are 2 of them combined, so he couldn’t so-easily deflect them like he did with Kaido’s
