I made a brown butter lobster ice cream and served it on a cheddar bay biscuit bowl. Don't do this.

It's me, I am the one who suggested savory ice cream! I just looked it up and the sugar isn't just there for sweetness, but to lower the freezing point and make it feasible in the first place. But there are several workarounds, such as high fat soft cheeses, gums, and alcohol.

as to the tomato ice cream, I’m thinking using sundried tomatoes could work. need really soft ones, or at least will have to reconstitute them a bit first
